YSK: You're Probably Using Nasal Spray Wrong
They're meant to work locally in your nasal passages. If you’ve been spraying and then sniffing hard, thinking you’re “getting it in there,” you’re probably just sucking it down your throat and swallowing the dose, which not only makes it less effective but might also irritate your throat or stomach. Try aiming slightly away from the center of your nose (toward the same-side ear, not the septum), instead.
Why YSK: I've been doing it wrong for a long time, hope this helps someone else avoid the same mistake.
This mostly applies to steroid nasal sprays, not fast-acting decongestants. But even with those, technique still helps. For rule 9's sake, here are two sources:

LPT "Lose" your phone annually and try to access all your important accounts
If your phone falls in a lake, is stolen, is confiscated, is lost or just glitches and dies, can you rebuild your life and access your accounts?
Can you get into your email and bank accounts without access to the 2fa/mfa in your phone? Your contacts and phone numbers?
Will all your photos be lost?
Write down all the apps, websites and services you need to be able to access. Now put your phone in a drawer and try to use them all.
If there are any that you cannot get into, find out how to do it now, before the boogie man disappears your phone.

YSK Headlines about billionaires losing money due to stock performance are misleading.
Why YSK: They only lose that money if they sell. “They” won’t sell at the bottom, quite the contrary, they’re buying and allocating market share.
Edit: Something I thought about that is worth mentioning is the downside can apply pressure to the loans that extremely rich people take against their stock positions so they don’t have to pay taxes on their gains. Those loans give access to liquidity since their wealth is tied up in the market. Their leverage is based on their holdings, if those assets see a significant decline it can put them underwater.

LPT. Ending arguments
I have found that alot of times when my wife and I get into an argument, we actually want the same end result, or something really similar. We are only arguing about "how we get to" the end result, not "what" that end result is. So the next time you find yourself in the middle of an argument with your wife/husband take a breath, find the end result that you both want, and say it out loud. It will cause you both to focus on the solution instead of trying to win the argument. This has absolutely helped me to realize that we are a team, even during some pretty heated arguments.

YSK that the way you phrase your sentences at work is really important for your image.
Why YSK: When I first started my career, I never wanted to bother people, especially with the higher ups, and would start my sentences with "just want to make sure" or "just checking but do we have approval for XYZ? Get rid of the JUST! It's completely unnecessary and makes you sound unsure!
Please add more to the comments!
Instead, use the examples below:
1. “Just checking in...”
“I wanted to follow up on...” or “Do you have an update on...”
2. “Sorry to bother you, but...”
“Quick question for you...” or “When you have a moment, I wanted to ask...”
3. “I think...”
“I believe...” or “Based on the data, it shows...”
4. “I’m not sure, but...”
“One option could be...” or “We could consider...”
(Avoid highlighting uncertainty unless necessary. Instead, show you're exploring options.)
5. “I was wondering if maybe...”
“Can you...” or “Would you be able to...”
6. “Does that make sense?”
“Let me know if you’d like more details.”
(Asking if something “makes sense” can sound like you’re unsure of yourself.)
7. “I just wanted to...”
“I wanted to...” or “I’m reaching out to...”
(The word “just” minimizes your message.)
8. “Hopefully that works”
“Let me know if that timeline works for you”
(Replace passive hope with clarity.)
9. “Kind of like...” or “It’s sort of...”
“It’s similar to...” or “It works like...”
10. “I’ll try to get it done by Friday”
“I’ll have it done by Friday”
(Try sounds unsure — if there’s a real risk of delay, give a reason and offer a realistic deadline.)

11. Try your hardest to eliminate "ummm" before you speak, especially while presenting!

If you’re running a little late to a meeting, if it’s only a couple of minutes, and specially if it’s just a co-worker use “thank you for being patient” instead of “sorry I’m late!” This works wonders

LPT: "it's good to see you" when greeting people at funerals, burials, & celebrations of life.
Obvious emotional distress aside, it's nice to have something to say to friends and family instead of 'how are you'. Eventually you get there but, I think the underlying gratitude softens the task of finding a word for your feeling during grief.

LPT: Stop being constantly 10 minutes late - avoid the “Zero Time Activity” misconception
Some people’s brains tell them that certain activities don’t take any time to complete - the “Zero Time Activity” misconception. For example:
“We need to leave the house at 09:30 to arrive at our appointment for 10:00. Good. It takes 30 minutes to get there. Good. It is now 09:30. Let’s leave the house. All we need to do now is…”
- Nip to the toilet
- Find my coat
- Find my shoes and put them on
- Find my wallet/bag and check I’ve got what I need
- Get the kids in their coats and shoes
- Get in the car, strap the kids in
- Find the address of our destination
- Program the satnav
- Drive to the destination
- Quickly stop for fuel
- Find somewhere to park
- Walk to the destination from the place parked
It goes without saying, but ever single activity above does actually take a small amount of time which all adds up. Once you internalise the idea that there isn’t such a thing as “Zero Time Activities”, you’ll notice that you start arriving on time.

LPT-Young children and wet beds
Soooo if you have a child who wets the bed or might get an upset stomach, layer the mattress with a mattress cover then sheet and then alternate a couple more times so that when your child has an accident the soiled layers can quickly be removed and the child can get back to sleep. Then wash appropriately. Kind of like a restaurant having three table cloths and they remove one after each diner.

LPT: put your contact info on your child's favourite plushie
If your child has a plushie/blanket etc. they HAVE to bring with them everywhere, put your contact info on it in case it gets lost somewhere. Either sew in a tag with a phone number or a QR code. If it's a "pet" kind of plushie, give it a little collar with your info. It makes it so much easier for someone to return it back to you. Especially as you can't use any tracking devices due to the risks of choking if your child manages to dig it out of their plushy.
Btw: Grown ups and teenagers should do it with their "plushies" too. Such as your keys, phone, wallet etc.
