The U.S. is Starting Another War to Distract from Landmark Case Against Israel
Biden has approved a second round of strikes in Yemen, which his administration claims is in retaliation for Ansar Allah's targeting of Israel-linked ships in the Red Sea.
But while the U.S. is defending Israel publicly, politically and militarily, it's also trying to distract from the historic genocide case South Africa has brought against Israel in the International Court of Justice.
South Africa's team has laid out a thorough case, pointing to Israel's genocidal rhetoric (Defense Minister Gallant saying there would be "no electricity, no food, no fuel") and genocidal actions (23,000+ Palestinians killed, 70% of whom are women and children, 7,000+ buried under rubble, 60,000+ injured), while Israel continues to say "but Hamas..." as if the Oct. 7 attack they were warned about and ignored is justification for committing genocide.

German Farmers Hold Nationwide Protests Over New Gov't Policy w/ Miro Wolsfeld

Biden Calls Israel’s Bombing ‘Indiscriminate,’ Vows to Support It w/ Robert Inlakesh
Biden recently called Israel’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip “indiscriminate,” as the overwhelming majority of the around 20,000 Palestinians killed by Israel are women and children.
Journalist Robert Inlakesh noted that everything from Israel’s carpet bombing tactics, to its mess of a ground invasion, to the IDF’s own reports that several of its soldiers have been killed by friendly fire, show that Israel doesn’t seem to have any clear objective in this war.
But of course, Biden vowed to continue supplying Israel with money and weapons, knowing that they will be used to kill more civilians.

The U.S. is Abandoning American Citizens in Gaza w/ Dr. Ramzy Baroud
While the Biden Admin has made it abundantly clear that it doesn't care about Palestinian civilians, as it continues to fully support Israel's ethnic cleansing of the Gaza Strip, it is also showing the world that it doesn't care about American citizens—as hundreds remain trapped with the State Dept. doing little to try to secure their safety.
Palestinian-American Journalist Dr. Ramzy Baroud, who has lost at least 24 family members and counting in Israel's latest bombardment, noted that for Americans trying to escape Israel's wrath, the U.S. passport has become meaningless.

Zelensky Meets with World Leaders at WEF in Davos to Talk 'Peace Plan' ...Without Russia
The World Economic Forum is back in Davos this week, and it wouldn’t be complete without a meeting of world leaders to talk about peace in Ukraine. The main problem? Russia wasn’t included.
The other glaring problem that is being ignored as Switzerland agrees to Zelensky’s request to host a summit to talk about his so-called “peace plan” is that the plan in question requires Russia’s complete surrender and the return of Ukraine’s borders to the days before Kiev became a puppet of the West in a U.S.-backed coup.
In other words, Zelensky is just planning his next lethal aid fundraiser in the name of “peace” in Ukraine.

Israel on Trial for Genocide + U.S./Iran Tensions Rise w/ George Galloway
The landmark genocide case against Israel began at the International Court of Justice today, with South Africa presenting evidence of both genocidal rhetoric and actions committed by Israel against the Palestinian people in their massacre of the Gaza Strip.
@ noted that while the U.S. and the UK may defend Israel and call the case "politically motivated" in public, they could also see the potential of the UN's top court ordering an immediate halt to Israel's bombardment as a sort of "off ramp" preventing a regional collision that could lead us to WW3.

Biden Admin Begs for Ukraine Aid, Defends Israel’s Crimes
The Biden Admin has resorted to begging in order to try to get Congress to approve billions more in military aid for Ukraine, with the president insisting, "We can't let Putin win" the conflict that the U.S. started with Russia a decade ago.
When they aren't talking about Ukraine, the Biden Admin is continuing to try to defend Israel's war crimes, even as the death toll in Gaza from Israel's bombardment nears 18,000 Palestinians killed—70% women and children—with thousands more buried under rubble, and nearly 50,000 injured.
But State Dept. Spokesman Matthew Miller wouldn't dare call any of it a "war crime," and the U.S. is still using its veto power to strike down any UN Security Council resolution that mentions the need for a "humanitarian ceasefire."

BREAKING: The Pentagon is reporting that a U.S. warship and multiple commercial ships have come under attack in the Red Sea.
The Pentagon has not identified where it believes the fire came from, despite the fact that Yemen’s Houthi rebels have declared war on Israel, and have been launching a series of attacks on vessels in the Red Sea.
An anonymous U.S. official told the AP that today’s attack began about 10 a.m. in Sanaa, Yemen, and had gone on for as much as five hours.

Meet Javier Milei: Argentina's New President is Anti-BRICS, Wants to Dollarize Economy
Argentina just elected the world's first Libertarian leader: Javier Milei. The self-proclaimed "anarcho-capitalist" who campaigned with a chainsaw in hand and promised to eliminate the country's central bank and slash government spending has presented himself as the ultimate anti-establishment candidate.
But Milei is also ending plans for Argentina to join the BRICS alliance next year, and his plan to combat soaring hyperinflation involves eliminating the Argentine Peso and adopting the U.S. Dollar instead.
