Why do you suppose US Army Apache helicopters keep crashing? Parts are also falling off Boeing passenger jets. Neo AI / LLM update: We had a loss of some productive days due to an upscaling structure we are putting into place that was more complex than anticipated. It will be completed in the next 3 days, roughly, and the processing of source files continues for building subsequent epochs of our LLM "Neo." The scaling up allows us to manage very large collections of source files (many millions) in a more efficient way for throughput that maximizes GPU usage across a large network of GPU servers. We had to write all this code ourselves, because nothing exists off the shelf to achieve this. The good news is that we will then be able to scale up with a larger number of GPU servers and "worker" workstations that do the file logic. We are building an infrastructure in anticipation of much larger models and having faster throughput of source data. In this process we are pushing up against the boundary limits of both Windows OS and Linux OS (Ubuntu), especially when shared across a large network of contributing servers and workstations with GPU resources. In any case, we have overcome this limitations and our implementation should be back on track shortly. We are still anticipating a release of our first Neo LLM before the solar eclipse. The update I am mentioning here will make subsequent releases far more comprehensive in the amount of data pipeline processing we are able to achieve each month. Gives me a thumbs up / like if you know what this is: I was working on irrigation lines today for Spring planting. Using the PEX expander tool (Milwaukee, in this case) and attaching lines WITHOUT CHEMICALS OR GLUE just by using the PEX expander fittings. This is a "green" way to do plumbing, and although the tool is expensive, I save a fortune on not hiring plumbers to do these things. Plus, PEX doesn't fracture when it freezes. This is so much better than PVC, and 100% glue-free!
