Also, after the release of the fully decentralized ReddID, one of the plans was to make ReddID in-game app and integrate it on all possible crypto and PC/PS/... games as tipping and payment in-game app, where the founder of the game get fees in order to have profitable collaboration with Reddcoin project. Sweet dreams... my dream was that we could build an empire with Reddcoin project. You know who is to blame.

Yes. Just make sure you're on the right chain at the end. With the bootstrap you had two advantages: 1. blockchain on the right chain; 2. faster synching because you only had to copy the files from the bootstrap on the reddcoin data folder

If you let the wallet to sync with the network, at the end make sure you are on the right chain.

I highly doubt it.

4 years ago, the Core Dev team planned to launch hybrid version of ReddID - decentralized wallet and centralized userbase. If they finished it 4 years ago, soon after the release, 1) the price should be rising, 2) attention for new developers also - very crucial for the complete decentralized version & 3) dev funds value as well to pay for new dev work. I was part of the Core Dev team, but my suggestions to speed the development process for ReddID, because the time is against Reddcoin project and the tech development of the competition, didn't make an impression. The brain team of the Core Dev team had their own plans and goals and in the end, it's today's reality. Very good, John and Jay.

When you connect to peers from the wrong chain, the wallet may switch to the wrong chain when synching. That's the issue
