so if i understand correctly, mine wallet folder is an updated v3 folder and not an v4 folder ? will it cause problems later or is it ok to keep it like this ?

there is a Dutch group maybe easier, but this is an updated v3 folder (v4 has a seperate wallets folder), no problem it works, but when close the wallet remove the peers.dat file (it contains the old v3 peers) when you restart the wallet it creates a new peers.dat file

Ok. synching is done and my balance is showing correctly. I hade mij wallet.dat file backed up from v3 but i didn't pasted it in the wallet folder. is i check the wallet folder i see the wallet dat file there.. like it happend by itself ? i had it saved but on another place . but anyway my coins are visible on the new v4 wallet.

In the ReddCoin folder. The default paths:
Linux: ~/.reddcoin
macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Reddcoin
Windows: %APPDATA%/Reddcoin (Use Windows key + R to open the run window, type this into the run window)

ok, thanks ! i removed the peers dat.file and restarted the wallet. the file size went from 653KB to 5KB now.

Since you didn't delete the Reddcoin folder created by v3, you may not have it. In this case you must create it.

That's the reason why you don't have connections. Those connections are peers on the right chain but you are on the wrong chain.
