Question about JVM versions on Android devices

News app for Android Developers
I have always wanted to build a open source project that is useful for me and other people. At the same time, I wanted to learn new things that have been happening in Android Development Ecosystem. So, instead of using third party apis to build a sample app, I chose to build this news app that helps me learn things from various sources.

Google rejected Wear OS application publications due to the Google account selection screen
I just wanted to update the description of my app, but now Google checks the Wear OS app every time when you update somthenig. Even if you didn't update app. This time they send me a screenshot of the Google account selection window, which is SYSTEM. I can't "fix" the Wear OS screen. I filed an appeal, to which they sent me the same screenshot again. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?

Android Studio Canary / Compose Preview performance
Just posting this in case it helps anyone else.
The performance of Android Studio when working with Compose previews AND an emulator is pretty rough on Iguana, but is really good on Iguana (canary channel)

ListView vs RecyclerView
I know the benefits of using RecyclerView over a simple listview but let's assume that we have to populate a list that will NEVER contain more than 15-20 elements in a vertical layout and there will be 7-8 items visible on the screen at all times. So I have a few doubts regarding this -
1. Will it still make sense to implement a RecyclerView for this use case over a ListView?
2. What will be the performance difference Between ListView and RecyclerView in this case and how can I measure it?

Root detection
How do you detect if the device is rooted? Is the Safety attestation API enough? What approach do apps that handle sensitive information, ( banking, medical, etc) use?

How do you handle different Screensizes? Same XML layout for all Display Sizes or Custom Rules for different DPIs/Resolutions?
I'm sure many of you know the situation of creating a nice XML UI on a 1080p phone, only for elements to scale completely wrong at 4K, resulting in things like tiny text.
What's your approach to this? I know it's possible to define values for individual screen size ranges. Someone will also probably recommend compose here....

Is it me or Android Studio is buggy as hell (Iguana, but no matter the version) ?
\- WiFi pairing takes ages only to fail 90% of the time, and after that it is forever stuck on "There was an unexpected error during Wi-Fi pairing initialization".
\- Devices emulator freezes/crashes every few minutes. 90% of time, a full Android Studio reboot is needed.
Even with an up-to-date PC and optic fiber, debugging so far has been an excruciatingly painful experience.
Am I the only one noticing the disastrous debugging experience ?

Workflow advice for freelancers
I have some apps for iOS that are currently on the App Store and I’m looking to create android versions of them that I can put on the Google play store. I’ve run into a few issues trying to do this and it mainly seems to come down to small errors that I’m having trouble with when it comes to deploying apps with the proper metadata, and all the correct formalities of the Google play console upload process.

I am currently trying to understand how suspend to ram works in Android via the power manager https://source.android.com/docs/automotive/power/power_policy.
I have not find any answer going through the documents and Android source code how activity manager handles broadcast queue during suspend to ram?
If a suspend event is triggered does all the broadcast intent get received before the suspend or does it stay in the queue and starts executing its intent in the queue after resume ?
