Decoding RFID tag with mobile app

I have some special device Coppernic C-One2, which is able to decode iClass LF and HF RFID cards. I am using the "Coppernic Wedge" app which scans the tag and makes intent. The two fields of this intent are "byteData" and "cardNumber".

The card number should be fine, but it is not always corrent. For HF cards its fine, but for LF, the number is wrong (printent label on the RFID tag is different).
I would like to try to decode that "byteData" to get the printed value, but sadly I have no ...

Connecting app to NTRIP caster

Hello guys,

I'm coding app that is supposed to connect to Ntrip caster stream and get GNSS corrections from it.

I wasn't able to make it work fine with neither okHttp nor Retrofit:(

It's pretty specialised problem, but I was wondering if we have anyone who would have worked with Ntrip casters in the past?...

Are Secure QR Codes (SQRCs) already a Thing?

I am working on an Android app for digitally archiving sensitive physical documents and at a brainstorming sess, some guy came up with SQRCs. Then, we all'looked up into it, but other than a Wiki page and a couple research papers, we couldn't find any info about it.

Do implementations of SQRCs encoders / readers even exist yet?

The idea we all agreed upon, by the way, is to authenticate after the QR code is processed, which is straightforward....

Xiaomi GetApps Email

Anybody get an email from "miuirobot@xiaomi.com" saying 10k+ people have searched your app, inviting you to add your app to their store? Is this legit? I looked up my apps on their store and there seems to be fake pages all with 4.0 star rating and <100 downloads, which I found kinda sketchy.

In general, does anyone publish their apps outside the playstore with much success?...

I've been building a clone of Airbnb using Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform for the past few weeks and recently showed it off on Twitter. I'm also building out a full Figma design file to accompany the repo/apps, complete with a full prototype.

Figured I might as well share the love with Reddit too.

New user testing requirements - how is it enforced?

I'm in the process of building a service to help developers pass the new user testing requirements. But I'm stuck with one big issue:

To what extent do Google enforce 'real' user testing? Does a user who is testing your app have to open the application a certain amount of times per day? Or a certain amount of times in the 14 day period?

I'm struggling to understand what is stopping a person from using 20 gmail accounts which they personally own....

Can i upload app under my name at first for beta testers, and later under company name?

Expanding Ads inside lists (popping up) - allowed?

I wonder if anyone knows if this is some acceptable ad placement strategy:

Having a list of items and showing ads in between the items and let the ads show inside the list instantly and suddenly after loading them by placing them inside the list between items. This leads to ads suddenly appearing underneath your finger when you try to click a list item in the moment an ad gets ready to get displayed...

I think it would be better to show placeholders as long as ads are not loaded and replace t...
