I bet there are many more frustrated AppDialer users here. I've been using that for almost 10 years now. Best laptop for Android Development.
I'm looking for a new laptop to continue my development. I've been using a i3 3rd gen and i5 5th gen laptop both with 8GB for the last 4 years which is my entire app developing career. I'm tired of the freezing, buffering and not being able to use an emulator without my laptop reaching 6000 Kelvin.

In android AOSP, how is the Always On Display managed?
Hello.
I am trying to understand the Always On Display on my Pixel 7 Pro.
I have found that it mainly resides in SystemUI package.
However, I am having a hard time finding where things are handles - specifically the clock for the always on display, as well as the brightness adjustment (this may not reside in SystemUI after looking at logcats).

I came a cross an issue, and couldn't find the answer.

How do you provide login creds to Google Play to test the app?
The app is private for a University, login is restricted to the Google Workspace hosted domain...

Dealing with SSL certificates on older APIs
On lower API levels (API 23 and 24) I'm getting `Trust anchor for certification path not found`, I found out that this happens because older versions of Android don't recognize certificate due to being outdated.
Adding the Let's Encrypt root certificate to `OkHttpClient` fixes it, however, what I don't know is what to do when the certificate updates.

About Admob UMP, what are the rules/laws of what's allowed on the app based on user consent status ?
I saw 2 places that gave me the impression that developers shouldn't give a different experience to users who have granted consent vs those that haven't:
1. "EU GDPR says you can't deny access to your app if user doesn't consent." (here)

Hi Folks. Please help me understand why users retaliate in this manner. I have an app live on the Play Store with multiple features, majority of them free-to-use. No Ads too.
