Survivors of the USS Indianapolis recuperate aboard the Cecil J Doyle. After delivering the atomic bomb, the ship was sunk by a Japanese Submarine(July 30th, 1945). Of the 890 men who survived the sinking, 316 were rescued (1284X2778).
