A view of the courtroom at the first war crimes trial of World War II. Eleven Russian and Ukrainian collaborators were tried for treason. They all pleaded guilty and begged the court for mercy. Three were sent to Siberian labor camps. The rest were publicly hanged (Soviet Union, 1943) [990 x 1428].
