The Netflix apocalypse hit my household I am looking for a BOOMER compatible piracy home media option I have already tried libreELEC and OSMC with little success in any case rpi4 is barely enough for even HD any suggestions?

I wanted to share this simple Java Maven application called RarHunt that I just made. If you're used to browsing and downloading torrents from RARBG.to, this tool will definitely make your life easier now that it's no longer with us.

3. Seamless Integration with qBitTorrent: By double-clicking on a torrent's hash, the application automatically launches the qBitTorrent client for you. It's a time-saving feature that lets you begin downloading your favorite torrents with just two clicks.
4. Custom Download Location: When launching qBitTorrent, RarHunt prompts you to select the download location for the chosen torrent. This ensures that your files are saved exactly where you want them, without any hassle.
How to Get Started:
1. Make sure you have WAMP server installed and running, along with the rarbg_db.sqlite database file.
2. Clone or download the RarHunt Repository and import the project into your Java IDE.
3. Build and run the application, ensuring that the necessary libraries are included in the classpath.
4. Start searching and exploring the vast world of torrents effortlessly.
If you do not want to build the app yourself you could take a look at the source code and make the v1.0-alpha release work for you by setting up the file paths and SQLite database information accordingly.

The death of RARBG has been truly saddening for all of us.
We have gathered developers and have started work on a RARBG clone.
The clone aims to have all the torrents from RARBG, and then open registrations, so more people can add torrents. However, this will be under strict moderation to prevent the spread of malware.

Just discovered Real Debrid and I'm shocked - got a couple of questions as well
So, this whole thing started with Netflix cracking down on password sharing. I've been sailing the high seas for many years and the only reason for having that subscription was for my parents and sister, since they're tech illiterate. When I finally got that message from them stating that I need to pay extra for users outside of my network, I said F it and cancelled it on the spot.
At that point, I had to come up with a new solution to make my family's life easy and straight forward again. I was considering opening up my Plex server to them, but that came with its own headaches (having to keep my PC on 24/7 and downloading whatever they want to watch each and every single time). One thing lead to another and I discovered Real Debrid.
Now, I've a tech power user for more than 20 years and somehow I've been living under a rock as I've never heard about such a wonderful "tool". I created a 15 days subscription for starters and got down to testing. My current setup is as follows:
\- Real Debrid + JDownloader for downloads
\- Unchained app on my Android phone for Real Debrid management
\- Stremio + Torrentio for me and my family.
So far so good, everything is working perfectly. My internet was already great so I never had to wait too long for downloads to finish but holy smokes. Streaming a 80GB+ 4k HDR movie with close to 0 buffer? What kind of sorcery is this? Also, absolutely everything that I looked up so far on Stremio was cached already, and trust me, I looked for some obscure stuff. Considering that my Netflix subscription was already costing me 11.99€ per month, paying 16€ for Real Debrid for 6 months sounds like a literal no brainer.
Here comes the questions now, as I want to make sure that I'm using this thing to its full potential:
\- From what I understand, Real Debrid is a legitimate business and the whole torrenting thing falls in some sort of a gray area. Does a VPN still make sense if my only use for it was to hide my sails on the sea?
\- How safe are the card payments options? I'm using a disposable card just for good measure, but I was curious if anybody had any issues due to them, especially since your real identity is tied to the purchase.
\- From my tests, it seems that you can download pretty much anything, even torrents from private trackers, which got me thinking. Are there any indexes that contain torrents from everywhere (including private sources)? Alternatively, is there a way to see all the content that is currently cached by RD?
\- Any other interesting uses for Real Debrid that I'm missing, orr 3rd party tools / integrations?

Piracy Nostalgia: Farewell to Forgotten Pirates.
Yesterday, when RARBG went down, many of us who have been pirates for a long time remembered some websites from the past that were really important to them.
I'm a German speaker, and I failed English class when I was around 10 years old in the summer of 2003 or something. I loved South Park, so I downloaded the movie and the latest episodes with BitComet to practice English, but I also just wanted to always see the latest episodes. I legit don't even know the name of that website anymore. It always had the latest South Park episodes and other cartoons back then, then it went down! (Maybe someone knows?)
I knew about P2P networks from my dad years earlier. We used a lot of Kazaa to download songs to put on our iPod!
Then I got more into torrenting, never really stopped. I used Mininova, ThePirateBay, KickassTorrents, and lastly RARBG, which was online forever, and I thought the good times never end.
**TLDR; My personal story is not important and not the point but I say thanks and goodbye to:**
* **BitComet (Is actually apparently still around)**
* **Kazaa**
* **LimeWire**
* **That one website that always had the latest South Park torrents in the early 2000s.**
* **Mininova**
* **ThePirateBay**
* **KickassTorrents**
*..And the ones I have forgotten about, but I used way too many!*

RARBG Release Alternatives?
So, like others, my entire library is 99.99% rarbg releases (I really like their \~2gb, 1080p x264 encodes)...
What would be a good alternative now for these movie releases moving forward?
I'm not a fan of YIFY and the like - so are there any other encodes out there that are up to the same quality?

Need English IPTV Provider Hookup
I have a pretty decent service that like all good services is not talked about, promoted etc. It focuses on English/Canadian/American/UK content and is geared more towards sports. Over a year and it's fast and stable no complaints.
It does lack some features such as VOD and catchup so I'm looking for a backup/second provider.
Can someone make a recommendation who's not a bot/spammer/promoter? I can't take anymore searching there's just so many shit scammers everywhere.

Downloading torrents from other sites isn't replacing RARGB
The torrents I was getting from RARGB always were fast and downloaded in no time, even if had a bunch of leechers or the same quantity of leechers and seeders It was really fast. With RARGB down I became an orphan of a good and reliable torrent site, the other ones I'm using like 1337x and torrentGalaxy are not even close to the torrent speeds of the torrent links that RARGB had. Are there more reliable sites to get my torrents from?
