How hard is it to get Windows/Office now?
I mainly wanted Office but I want to get one that I don't have to constnatly worry about the license for. I just want to install and not think about it again until a newer Office is out. What about Windows with the death of HWID?
It's not directly related, but are there trustworthy places to get most/all paid or premium Android apps, including games?

Now that HWID is dead, is KMS38 the only option?
I have a HWID activated win11 Pro system. I know kms38 will last until 2038, but there's always the chance it won't be.
I don't want to have to worry about such things, and don't mind spending 2$ for a license key.
Now, my main PC is HWID activated and it will stay activated. However, I plan to swap the storage drive into a upgraded rackmount solution with entirely different hardware. Will that ruin the licensing and force me to reactivate?

Could a pirated movie be malicious?
As the title says. Could an mp4 movie be malicious in 2023 while the media player and operating system security updates are up to date? And im not talking about movie.mp4.exe type of files. I'm talking about a pure mp4 file. I heard it was possible in the past with os like Windows xp, but can it be possible nowadays? That's the only reason i'm still avoiding torrenting because, and rely entirely on piracy streaming services.

Is there a truly full-proof way to seed locally without leaking?
Docker containers with a VPN are a common recommendation, but are they truly foolproof, or can leaks still occur?
Is there something even better out there? I'm just wondering the absolute, best-in-class solution for protection.
I have heard from some guys who've been torrenting for decades, that they've actually stacked a VPN with a proxy for maximum protection. Potentially worth it in a very strict country.

Someone somehow stole it from China because it has a China Film Administration intro. Chinese and English subtitles are burned in.

Best pirate sites to watch shows on in the UK
So I'm a international student, back home, we didn't have the notion of piracy at all. It's anybodies game really.
Would often watch movies from fmovies. But ever since I came here, I got to know about Piracy in general.
So now, I just want some sites that people often use and have never gotten an issue with when it comes to streaming movies (or getting caught 🤷♂️)
Because paying something like 4 pounds just to Rent a film is absolutely criminal in my opinion, especially for us international students.

Best way to reverse engineer/crack .net applications on linux?
A couple of .net applications keep spamming me with upgrade notifications when I run them in wine (it's bad enough in windows but whatever dialogs they're using does NOT play well with wine) and I know enough about assembly, decompilation, etc. for me to think beating my head against a wall for several straight hours has a chance at fixing that, but I don't know the best way to actually go about doing it. Most .NET decompilers that I've seen are either windows only, or work so poorly on Linux they might as well be windows only and, ideally, there would be some way as well of watching the program mid-execution to identify where in the code the verification is actually taking place. (both use license keys, so if I could see what gets called when I click the "I typed in my key, check it and tell me I'm good to go" button then it would make spoofing it way easier)
Currently I've tried using Cutter a few times but however the fuck .NET works it does not decompile well with Cutter. I also found avaloniailspy but it keeps crashing everytime I try to import the applications and generally doesn't seem very stable on linux. (I could be wrong but I'm about 90% convinced it's literally just running lspy inside of wine and pretending it's native)

Anystream on VM?
Does anyone here know how to benefit from the trial period of AnyStream within a virtual machine (VM)? The software has the capability to detect whether it is running on a VM or not. I have tried various methods, but I am still unable to find a solution.
From what I understood it checks the information from System Information, before it said something about "trials can't be done within a VM", after I changed some parameters now it says "We do not allow trials on this kind of machine"
