So I got 2 warnings, cleaned the cache at conf on uBlock and updates like always worked for me. I was listening to music then suddenly this is what I see whenever I try to enter a YT video. Any solutions or is my acc doomed and have to do another one?

I notice on mullvad that certain servers in different parts of the world show different amounts of seeds / have faster connections. Some torrents literally dont work at all on certain servers. Why is this and whats the best location / server / country to use to get the best speeds and most seeds?

Artists liking stuff uploaded in XFree into Pixiv Fanbox
Have noticed that some artists have started to use another site to upload their stuff instead of pixiv fanbox. It opens automatically if viewed from fanbox but not if viewed via other methods.
Site where they upload their files is Xfree.

What happened to Enhancer for Youtube on firefox?
Just fired up YT and no Enhancer, the add on is "installed" but not working and the add on page is removed from Firefox Add Ons.
EDIT: it seems the Chrome users are reporting it not working as well, however is still available in Chrome store (and Edge store).

Inexpensive hardware that lets me play video files on a USB/SD/Hard drive to HDMI for my boomer dad?
My dad gets understandably frustrated at new and complicated tech. I just want something that lets me load up files and let's my dad start the device and find the files simply and easily.
Ideally it
* doesn't lag in the menu,
* doesn't lag if there are a lot (like 1tb) of files
* let's me play mp4, etc.,
* doesn't force updates,
* doesn't have ads during playback of files, or ads in the way of anything,
* doesn't need internet to run (although we will have internet),
* plays at least 1080p videos (mostly around 300mb to 1GB per file,
* easy to navigate and search the files for a specific one
* lets me rewind with precision,
* lets me easily go back to what I stopped watching
* lets me easily go back to the time where I stopped watching before, even if I turned the device off (I know VLC can do this now, but their implementation isn't great as it vanishes too quickly.
* remote is ok, (but I'd like my dad to be able to search files very easily, so maybe a keyboard or tablet integration would be good? Or a wireless mouse, or mouse that is plugged into the remote?)
* something nice to have would be when my dad is looking at a specific file, if it could open up the imdb page for the show or movie so he can see a description
Previous threads in other subs suggested: Micca Speck, Mypin, Onn, etc.
Obviously the cheaper the better, but ease of use is what I care about more.

Did KMS installed a keylogger?
After activating my office programs, it seems that KMS installed a keylogger, in the past I have seen Windows Defender detect it as a crack. Now it appears as a keylogger and I can not even quarantine it, which is what worries me since it keeps coming back. Did I mess up, or is this a false positive?

more ways to check if something has viruses?
i wanted to download adobe animate, and i did however im still worried it might have viruses.
i haven't ran it yet, i scanned it with microsoft defender, and it said no viruses are present, i downloaded it form 4 mirrorlink the first site on the software category of the megathread.
im still a tiny bit worried, enough to not have run it yet, is there any other ways to check if a file has viruses?

For anyone suffering with YouTube popups and videos not loading after a while, use firefox containers. YouTube has a grace period when you first visit the site and login where they will not show you the popup. Everytime you open youtube from a new container it will reset that grace period.
Download the Firefox containers addon and then just set YouTube to always open on any of the containers, Using the new button that will pop up on the right of the address bar next to the bookmark star, and it will remove the popup and/or let your videos work again if they stopped loading.
You can also create a container calling it "temp" or "YouTube" or whatever name you want, if you are already using the container addon for other reasons, then delete it when videos stop playing again and make a new container for youtube. This method should last around two weeks from my testing so far (Granted I also had uBlock installed and running during this time).

So like, I was out looking for some new, updated, Linux distros when I inadvertently came across this gem. Now, people's sexual proclivities have long since stopped amazing me. What consenting adults choose to do with their free time is their business. What got me is that the download size. 3134 gb! Who is downloading this size of a file? I've been disappointment with my Linux distro downloads before but I just couldn't imagine downloading the last kb of this monster file, only to find out that one of the rar files is corrupt, thus rendering to whole thing unusable.

It's not just this one either. I heard they also banned "Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride."
Seriously what is so offensive about these episodes? All the more reason to stop giving money to these big companies who bow to censorship. Just torrent it. Keep it forever without DRM, now it's yours.
What's next? Are they going to remove Donald Trump from Home Alone 2? I thought it was bad enough when they edited "The French Connection" because apparently context doesn't matter.
EDIT: This is another reason I hate streaming. On top of the fragmented services that keep increasing prices, stuff can just be gone tomorrow for no real good reason. At least if I have a DVD, Blu-ray, 4K Blu-ray or a non-DRM-protected digital copy, they can't shut it off.

Updating Cities Skylines 2 from 1.0.09f1 to 1.0.11f1
I've downloaded 1.0.09f1 and wanted to update to 1.10.11f1 to improve my performance (which it did. 30 FPS -> 40 FPS on Medium Settings). I looked through the files and I wanted to share with you how I updated it. I don't know if all the steps are necessary but I did it this way and it work (if it works, don't touch it they say). First of all, download the new version BUT not all of it. Only these files and folders are required:
ROOT DIR:
* Cities2.exe
* nvngx\_dlss.dll
IN "Cities2\_Data":
* Everything except "Resources" and "StreamingAssets"
This will heavily shrink the downloading content from \~56GB to \~1.7GB. I did this because my WiFi is really slow (like only 10 Mbps or so. It's the ISPs fault though). Now, I don't know if they are really necessary but it worked for me and I hope will also for you.

39 year old single dad looking to get back into sailing the high seas. I really need help.
As the title says. I’m really trying to make sense of how to SAFELY get back into pirating and it’s been a bit difficult for me to try looking through the Megathread to answer all of the concerns that I have.
It’s me and my 13 year old son. I’ve been subscribed to Netflix, Prime, HBO, Crunchyroll, etc… for years now. With these services charging more seemingly every 6 months I just can’t justify paying for it all anymore.
How does someone that hasn’t pirated in at least 10 years get back into it? I understand that I need a VPN. And qbitorrent? I’ve seen realdebrid thrown around but I don’t really know what that does.
I’m primarily asking to see how someone new to the process downloads things, safely, and is them able to watch the downloaded things on two separate devices. I would like to watch these things on my non-smart TV and for my son to be able to watch things on his PC. Am I able to download things myself (I don’t trust allowing him to do any of the downloading) and then have him be able to access the downloaded things himself somehow? I’m sure there’s a way to do this, but I’m lost.
If anyone can help a newbie navigate this, if even barely, I would be immensely appreciative. I just don’t have the money to pay for all of these services anymore and I don’t have any idea where to start being a pirate again. Thanks!

Is there a reliable place anymore to find subtitles for various movies?
Topic. I hope this is the right place to ask, wasn't sure where else to do so.
I remember just a few short years ago there were reliable places to find basic subtitle files for just about any popular film. Now it seems like all the sites are bs, spitting out .zip files vs genuine .srt files which I simply do not trust, or having funky looking code instruction imbedded in them which I DEFINITELY do not trust.
Is there any place around anymore where one can reliably find subtitles that are genuine & not malicious? They are supposed to be simple text files but I imagine can be used to instruct programs to do malicious things, depending on the program that runs the file. Thanks in advance!

Best app to download lossless audio from Apple music?
I’ve been using cracked version of Notecable on my mac and it did a great job. I just have to pay a month of subscription and I can download whole bunch of music, I pay when I want to download the latest music.
But it has stopped working when I want to use today. When I tried to add some music to the download list, it just doesn’t work.
Any alternatives? Since I don’t want to buy the sh*tty expensive Notecable software nor pay the subscription for Apple Music for long-term. I can use any kind of OS(Windows, mac, linux, etc…) as long as the software works and I get my music.
