Redirects and 'click "allow" if you are not a robot' on clicking in TPB and 1337
Howdy, getting something strange across both TPB and 1337 recently where any clicks within the sites will generate a new tab, with varying outcomes when it loads.
The 'Click "Allow" if you re not a robot' one is most common. It's trying to convince me to allow browser notifications, which is easy to identify, but the previously clicked page on the torrent site still won't load.
I've found that the link on the torrent website doesn't underline when mouse is hovered, so it kinda feels like there's an overlay sitting over the page.
I've also found that if I load the site, then quickly perform my search and click the torrent's link within 3-4 seconds that the link will work as expected, after that time the links don't underline on hover and the redirects will fire instead.
Windows 10, using Chrome (updated), Wndows Defender can't see anything it's concerned about. Machine has become increasingly slow over the last few weeks.
Wondering if maybe there's something lurking in the background that I can scan for?

What’s your greatest pirating accomplishment?
I saw a post where someone asked people what they first pirated and I just happened to think about other milestones/accomplishments throughout my experience pirating and now I kinda wonder what other people’s greatest accomplishments are.
Personally, mine was getting the Wii version of Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword to work on my PC using an emulator (since I couldn’t find a repack of the switch version and I’m too cheap to pay for a decent VPN to torrent), then applying 4k textures to it that I found online, then adjusting the controls enough so I could beat the entire game using a ps5 controller. It was quite the combination of things and I’m surprised it worked as well as it did, considering I had almost zero emulator experience prior to that.
Maybe not impressive to you, but I usually just download repacks since I don’t need to pirate much other than random single player games, so it was an accomplishment for me.
What are your accomplishments or “wow I can’t believe I pulled that off” moments?

What's some good music players for windows ?
i've tried several music players for playing local music files on my pc , mainly foobar2000 and musicbee , but foobar2000 has a very outdated and basic UI while musicbee's UI is kinda messy and the lyrics implementation is bad . even spotify's local files function doesn't read .lrc files for lyrics
I'm looking for a music player with a modern beautiful UI and good lyrics implementation , i'd really appreciate suggestions

Is Direct Downloading Safer/Better then Torrenting?
I seen the Talk about how Direct Downloading is better and safer then Torrenting.
They say that Anti-Piracy People/Companies are more looking at people Uploading and Not Downloading.
So they just say Download Directly and don't use Torrent Trackers

I agree with Public Trackers as you hear people getting Caught a Bit on there but not Private Trackers as lot easier to get on Public Tracker then Private Trackers

Short answer: Yes
long answer: virgin media sent out a few letters few years ago but never did anything about it and isps might ban the websites you use which would mean you have to end up using a different proxy.

Hello everyone,
I am searching for a method to download quickly a 1080p-4K YouTube video with audio. Most of the online download webpages do max 720p with audio and 1080p without audio. I also tried yt-dlp , but the speed was very small. Any suggestions?

Which streaming sites use background torrents? Trying to avoid a copyright strike.
There are streaming sites that use browser side torrents to stream. Popcorntime was one. I've combed through all guides. I'm not new to sailing. ;)
Is movie-web.app safe? This one is always recommended. Is it safe to connect to Superstream/GOmovies and the other sources it uses?
Now, one last question: which site has the highest bitrate? I don't download movies/shows due to storage mainly, I just want a streaming holy grail that isn't Real Debrid.

How do I encrypt files before uploading to cloud storage?
Yes I know HDDs aren’t expensive but I’m broke so I’d rather just make 10 MEGA accounts and upload movies there that I download from Real Debrid. Is it necessary to encrypt the files before I do this in case of a copyright check?

I have a cracked build of IDM 6.41 Build 20 but it is offering an update now. Is it safe to do?
It works fine as is so I figure I don't really need to update but if anyone knows if the crack typically would still work then am I good to update or should I just keep cancelling it? I visit the website a few times per month. But sometimes I notice a random porn download I did not make between all of my downloads. And it's always porn.
I'm not behind CGNAT or anything like that, so I shouldn't be sharing IPs.
So. Is Iknowwhatyoudownload inaccurate? Maybe an ad of an online movies website started sharing content on its own using my network even though I use ublock? No strange devices were on my network either. And if it's a trojan that somehow I did not spot, there are ways to do more damage

I lost my account. I’m in need of a password manager to prevent this from happening next time.
So, i had lost my account, i only have one that i use a lot. I used it in my videogames, social media and other stuff. Now i had just lost it and POOF! Everything went gone. Yes, it’s devastating to have lost all the hard work in my games and my friends in social media but, what’s done is done i guess. It is what it is. Now i want to start anew but as safely and secured as possible.
What password managers would you recommend and think it’s best for me? I’m trying to use it for my mobile phone and PC. Also, probably would use a notebook incase something happens.
What type of risk should i expect by using these password managers and what should i do? Because putting your passwords in an app, a single location that can be hacked is kinda risky to me. Writing on a notebook too is risky. You never know what may happen. Maybe you’ll drop it off your bag, forget where you put it and more. I just want to know more about this before i fully dive in. Thank you.
