So Lost
I've been on this scene for a while, however with all the new Adobe security - I'm so lost. I have followed several tutorials, But if i block Adobe, it says "we cannot verify" etc when I try to launch, and if i UNBLOCK it in my firewall, it says I need a product key. Where the hell am I going wrong?
Also, have tried several installations, from several sites.

Star Trek: Enterprise
This is driving me CRAZY. It's a 13 y/o TV show. It shouldn't be this hard. I find PLENTY of torrents out there that say they have seeds, but when I plop it into qbittorrent, it stalls. Not to mention, why are some files one episode that is 600 GB, and one all 4 seasons for 37 GB. There's 1080p four seasons for 179 GB, vs the exact same thing, with all the same files, but 110 GB. I've looked through all of the engines mentioned in the megathread, and used those instructions to set up DNS, and bind to privado... am I doing something dumb?

Anyone remember: OLGA? Looking for Guitar Tabs
I'm old school and was wondering how may other old guitar guys remember OLGA? I so wish I had all my old stuff from then. Anyway I was looking for huge guitar tab places. I hate trying to use songsterr or Ultimate Tabs or whatever it is called. I know there is a software now and that seems usable but I don't know the name or where to find stuff. Anyone have any suggestions?

Can a mod perform a quality check for a particular "trusted" site/uploader?
My post was removed in r/ pirated games, For asking if a certain group was safe. I clearly checked through the file multiple times and the repack certainly was uploaded by them, when the install was complete, it had infected my pc with Trojan, with its directory being the same directory of the game files. And this has happened to me 2 more times from the same repacker.
Do i have to send a request to the mods to check for the update or something else?
It was a torrent from 1337x, and the repacker was DODI, the file/game being "Remember Me"

Weird ways to share pirated files?
There is this group named "Los Consejos de Homero" in which people share images of Homer Simpson with a QR code on it that contains something pirated, is quite goofy how it's always something like "Bart, here you can download all of the Dragon Quest games, but don't tell anyone about this"

Pirate services are better than paid services. Change my mind.
A few weeks ago, my dad subscribed to Apple TV+ and put me in his family group thing. "What a nice service with nice TV shows" I thought to myself, thinking of using my glorious 4K HDR monitor and 600Mb internet to stream some crisp, high quality movies. Upon trying to watch Severance, for some god forsaken reason, the official Apple TV+ app, running on official Apple hardware, refused to stream the show at a quality any higher than 480p SDR, even on my laptop's internal display.
I tried logging off and on, deleting the app's cache, searching on forums, ran some suspicious terminal commands and nothing worked. There's no way to force a change in video quality. Same 480p potato video again. Then it worked.
The solution?
Opened up a torrent streaming client, clicked on the show I wanted to watch. Bam, streaming glourious 4K HDR directly into my eyeballs. Instantly. No ads for other shows, no fuss. Just beautiful 4K bliss.
The same thing happens with most paid games: you have to update the launcher on every startup, download some huge update to the game that changes virtually nothing, and then be always online, even on single player games, so the game can run its anti-piracy service or some bullshit.
The pirated game? It just launches.
I still pay for my games and subscribe to one or two streaming services. But holy shit how frustrating it is to pay money to have an objectively worse experience.

Good places to download lossless FLACs?
Just found out that free-mp3-download has sailed away into Davy Jones's locker (RIP).
Are there any good, reliable alternatives where you just search for a song and click download without having to make an account, join a cult, do jumping jacks, etcetera?
I'd even settle for 320Kbps MP3s at this point, so long as they've 'proper' 20 KHz bitrates. At 35, my ears aren't as good as they used to be, for the better or worse.
However, I'm looking for sites with a (very) large collection as I mostly listen to relatively obscure music (for some reason).

Film recommendations?
My grandma lives alone and can’t afford internet so I’ve been filling small flash drives with films and teaching her how to use it through her TV.
She loves horror films so any recommendations about great similar films you’ve seen would be amazing and so would some general advice on file types, video quality, etc.

What's the opinion on Spotube?
It seems okay. But i have had issues where the song wasn't right. For example, it would show Doomsday by Derivakat, but it would instead play the cami-cat version. It also plays the acapella version of some songs instead of the song with music.

What do you think about people charging for pirated files?
I've been recently shown several apps on Facebook (I know, it's my fault for using facebook) that offer you a ludicrous amounts of comics and/or books for cheap, something like 10'000 comics for about 5 bucks.
I think it's obvious it's piracy, so I report it immediately, but I had the chance to chat with one of them, and he supposedly charges because he has to pay Google Drive to keep the comics, and he pays advertising on Facebook.
I'm pro piracy, but I think it's wrong to charge for something you did not make, what do you think?

1.6 million is top 10 all time.
4.6 million is the all time record.
If they lost 100m and in the US the PPV was 70.
100,000,000/70 = 1,428,571.
I think the fact that 90% of the people interested in the fight are only interested in the main event so justifying paying $70 us for one fight, 30-40 minutes tops is crazy.
