I was on soulseek one night looking for an album I can't remember now, and i notice this guy's username, the exact same as my cousins YouTube name.
So I message them, "cousins name". They respond with "who is this?". Long story short, it was my cousin, me and him had a good laugh about it.

I will be purchasing a laptop that doesn't come with an operating system installed, what are the possible issues that could arise if I use pirated windows on it?
I have pirated windows in the past but only on older machines so worrying about some feature not being usable wasn't an issue. Will I have to worry about windows not letting me use, lets say, the face unlock feature that's available on the laptop? Will I have to jump through extra hoops to be able to put it all together? I am willing to do that as long as it's possible.
TLDR: Can Pirating windows on a brand new laptop ruin the experience?

Is it riskier to use chrome for piracy?
I noticed in the megathread it says to use Firefox. I've been pirating for a long time, and really only use chrome because I like the aesthetics. I am not really worried about normal data selling as I also have a Google pixel, so too late. Just solely wondering if it poses a bigger risk for piracy, or am I still fine as long as I'm using a VPN?
Before everyone comments to switch because of memeory usage and stuff, I already know that. Solely curious about risk factors.

DRM on ebooks drives me insane, help.
For context I have actually purchased what I am trying to remove here, my goal is to be able to read what I have on like e readers and such but I can't even convert the PDF's to epub using calibre or whatever because of the DRM.
- First one is fileopen, trying to work out if possible to remove via some Python code, but is not straight forward.
- Second one is vitalsource ebook, this one is a challenge as I am struggling to even get the ebook in any digital format, I have read elsewhere some people have managed to get a vbk format but I can't even work that part out.
All I want to do is read on e ink reader some books I purchased, why do they make it so difficult...
