Sad news i think pdfdrive is officially down now
Im getting a "Origin is unreachable Error code 523". I often see this when sites are shutting down so its very possible. So many books so much info learned a lot hoarded some more great memories will not be forgotten.

Alternative to 1DM+
What would be a good downlod alternative to 1DM+ ?. This is the only downloader I use and I like it a lot, but it bogs the phone down badly. I have a Samsung Note 20 and I have the apps battery setting on Restricted, because setting it at Unrestricted or Optimized makes the phone crawl more so. Running that and doing a browser search at the same time is frustrating. Also, while running that app, I make sure noting else is running in the background.

How can I upload and share IGL by Samay Raina
I have been downloading off piracy websites for like 15 years but never had the urge to upload.
The govt. of India banned a comedy show based off "Kill Tony", created by Samay Raina and other creators name - India's Got Latent.
One joke about the parents' sex life caused the backlash and whole content has been deleted.
I have access to all the 18 episodes which I want to put somewhere for people to access forever including myself and friends.
My concerns -
1 where can I host it as online playable video with a page dedicated to it ?
2 if not 1, how do I begin to upload the torrent files I created to popular torrent sites and if someone will seed it to help me out.
3 is there someone who can help me publish them to popular piracy websites where tv shows and movies are found ?

Does anybody know what the deal is with all these sought out experimental films suddenly becoming available?
So, a few days ago, I heard from a friend that a Gregory Markopoulos film that could have previously only been seen in a particular cinema was online. Since then, a few more of his films have shown up online, along with works by the likes of Sharits, Brakhage and Dorskey. I know that this is not an experimental film community, but I figured someone here might have some sort of background for this. Any information?

I tried to go on readallcomics.com today and it gave me a 404 not found nginx error. Don't know exactly what it means. Yesterday it was kind of working correctly even though there was some server error messages, easily solved by simply refreshing the page. Could it be an issue coming from my network or pc ?

DODI, FitGirl, or STEAMRIP. Which one is your favorite?
Each has its own pros and cons. The advantage of FitGirl is how easy it is to use the site, you just click the magnet link, and that's it. The download is very fast, but in return, the installation takes a long time, and many games aren't on the latest version.
With DODI, the installation is quick, but you have to go through annoying link protectors to access the file, and I also feel like the download is slower.
As for STEAMRIP, I just discovered it recently, and it feels too good to be true. The games are always up to date, the download is direct and super fast if you use Free Download Manager, and you don’t even need to install, just extract the folder. I haven’t found any flaws yet, maybe the only downside is that the library isn't that big.

Both firefox and brave shows file contains malware. I downloaded the file from link Not in fmhy.net (in sandboxed environment).
I am just curious to know how .mkv file can show containing malware.
Can someone help me in understanding how is this possible ?
I always thought .mkv file cannot contain malware.

How to choose kindle
Only for books, preferably for bedtime reading but thats absolutely optional since i got light set up for reading anyway, and just found out kindles have ads... Idk if something like that exist but definitely do not want ads on books.
Paperwhite, kids and so on too many options and i do not have clue which one i need.
Just want cheapest option just to read books and comfortable to travel with.
EDIT: heard about kobo for the first time, i thought kindle didnt have worthy competitor before.

Just download Jdownloader2. Stop putting it off.
I've been downloading roms that take three hours to DL through my browser at 80kbps. In frustration, I downloaded Jdownloader2 and a browser extension to connect the two, my Downloads are now 2-10mbps. I feel so stupid. If you're putting it off, just do it now.
Edit - browser extension is 'Download with JDownloader'
Edit 2 - it's become clear I've been vague. I was having issues where I was having to start and stop downloads in my browser to get the download link, then add it into Jdownloader2 to get the faster speeds. So, I installed the mentioned browser extension so I don't have to do that anymore. How did I connect them? I installed the extension, JDownloader2 then automatically asked if I wanted to let them connect, I said yes. I limited some permissions of the extension cause I don't want every download I ever make put to Jdownloader2. I hope that's more specific and clarifies things.
