Kodi, or other RasPi friendly tools, any way to stream content as easy as going to like flixhq or something?
Im trying to set up a media streaming tool on a raspberry pi.
I've tried TeamCrew and JewBMX and while both seem to work, you have to go through several layers of menus, and then find the movie, and then pick a source, and finally download (if it even worked)
FlixHQ you just go there, pick a movie, and hit play. Is there any way to get it as simple as that?

The Megathread links (at least for tv shows) are mostly clones of each other... as far as I've seen almost 80% of them are basically one site, same UI, same shows and movies, slight design differences.
There's of course a few exceptions, mainly due to them being more specific types (cartoons, kdrama, etc).
So I was searching for a couple of shows from dropouttv, after looking at 20+ sites. I realized I only got two search results:
2" Love actually", some Keanu flick, and a korean sports movie.

Basically you either get putl*cker or you get lookm*vie (censoring bc don't remember if I can explicitly mention sites). Shoutout to those weird sites that keep it original.

Not using a VPN on the torrent website, but using it while downloading?
Is it bad to do this? My DL client is set up to only work with my VPN enabled. However, I sometimes use a browser which bypasses my VPN.
Should I just use a dedicated browser with VPN enabled to download?

I love you. I've build a little library out of your film uploads lately, even discovered amazing films i didn't know about just because you uploaded them. Other times i'll search for a hard to find film and sure enough a file will pop up with your name on it, reassuring me that the upload will be perfect. And the extras are such a treat. Not a lot of people upload the extras and i'm not taking it for granted, as it is immensely helpful. I've made a routine of watching films at nights, then watching the extras the next day and it's amazing. You are a saint. Stay safe.

Downloaded 4-5 movies the other night with Nord VPN on, but I just got 4-5 emails from Xfinity with copyright for each, i was on VPN the entire time, also did not keep them seeding with the VPN off or seeded at all for that matter, any idea as to how they noticed? And should I be worried at all?

Feeling bit sad that Soap2Day had to go.
Arrr Pirates. I'm feeling a bit sad that Soap2Day had to go. It was my go to site to steam most of the movies and shows. It always almost had everything and wasn't as buggy as other sites out there. Used to work just perfect on my Firestick and browsing and streaming wasn't an issue. Also the content it used to curate was also perfect. I know the .xyz website that some of you've suggested, but is there any other identical website that is and functions like soad2day? Thank you.

I'm stupid new, but I've begun
So what I have so far:
- Plex server
- Qbit
- free ProtonVPN
I got Plex setup with some movies and such. But I'm looking to expand my horizons with Qbit. If I were to get a firewall to put on my network, would this be able to replace the need for a VPN?
I got Qbit and Proton installed found a good site to leach from, but with downloading torrents with Proton running, it's incredibly slow. Is that normal?
Do I honestly have to pay for Proton for better speeds?
Also, on Plex how do you get subtitles from playing my own files? Looking to get subbed anime...

I just reset my PC and realised something crazy
My PC was super slow, the ram was always full even if I wasn't doing anything. Then I downloaded malware from Ocean of games which sucked so I decided to reset my PC. Now with my fresh PC with everything deleted I realised I was MUCH faster and smoother and that the RAM was nowhere near as full as before. Which made me realise I probably downloaded something that used my PCs power like a miner or something. I just wanna say don't be dumb and stupid like me and be safe use the mega thread, or you'll suffer the consequences.

Where can I get relatively underground / obscure music?
Yo. I'm looking for a site where I can find music from relatively unknown artists.
I won't name the artists but they are from the US, make electronic and rock music and publish mainly on Bandcamp. The artists have like 50 different albums so the whole discography is quite pricy plus one of them releases new singles and albums on a monthly basis.
I checked rutracker but it has only couple of older albums.
