I know it's listed in the mega thread, but when I downloaded 3DMark, multiple items were flagged in Windows Defender. I'm hoping they're false positives though ?! Should I go through with the setup ?

Sirius XM activation issues
So I been browsing ways to activate Sirius XM in this sub but I been encountering errors in all of them.

Alternative YouTube App?
I love YouTube, I have been paying for YouTube Premium for almost a year now, I get to watch videos ad free, download videos, and I get YouTube music for free.
But I have one big issue with the YouTube app - the copious amount of shorts that are thrown in your face. I fucking hate shorts, and all I want in my YouTube app is the ability to disable them. Of course, such a feature doesn't exist because they want you get addicted and waste your brain matter away to these.
So I ask: Are there any safe alternatives to the main YouTube app, which do not display shorts?

Scene Groups
This might be a dumb question, but I wanted to know if anyone is familiar with ways to contact a scene group. I’ve sometimes seen in the .nfo file where the group mentions their email address and asking if anyone wants to join to email them. I’m asking because I am interested in contacting the group CALiFLAC because they have been releasing a lot of music I’m interested in and could help contribute as well.

What's the best software to download music and then import into iTunes already with the correct format (name,artist,album,etc)
So yesterday I decided to revive my old iPod classic and wanted to get back into downloading some music, tried some of the classic youtube to mp3 softwares but the problem is that I had to correct song and artists names since it only came with youtube song title. In the past, like 10 years ago , lol, I used a software called "MP3 Rocket", I think, that would download the song from youtube and automatically would put it in the right format and import it directly into iTunes, is there any software right now that does something similar?

Don't take the following rant personally
I've recently started to notice downvotes on comments calling out VPN companies that are based in five eyes countries or the EU. Nobody should have brand loyalty for anything especially when it comes to privacy.
Good vpns are based in tax avoidance law lacking countries for a good reason. Nobody is forcing them to do anything and this is well established logic when looking for a VPN. Express VPN is in the Virgin islands and Nord is in Panama for good reason.
Yet people here are advocating for pia based in the USA and proton based in Switzerland which while I can maybe consider letting proton pass I cannot scroll past people saying use pia.
Yes pia doesn't keep logs today but they used to and are based in a five eyes country that doesn't care about your privacy and can easily get around pia not keeping receipts. There's nothing private about using a company based in the USA. With signal probably being the single exception. I'm sure there's a few more honourable mentions.
Once again I'm not saying this to offend your buying decision, simply stating why pia isn't ranked in the top three of most lists especially privacy focused ones.
I'm happy for civil discussions on this topic but if you want to engage in uncivil blind brand loyalty please find other ways to spend Xmas eve

Would it be possible to host a LAN server on a pirated game?
So I live with my brother, and there are many co-op story games that we would like to replay, for example the far cry games. Issue is that the games are too expensive, so it's just easier to pirate. Obviously these just use ubisoft's servers, but I was wondering if there would be a way to modify it so we could play it locally.

How to watch previous UFC PPV
Looking for a site to watch last weekend’s UFC PPV for free that will cast.
I found a site that I could play on my phone, but I was unable to cast it for some reason from my phone. So maybe if someone knows how I can get around that, then that would solve my problem altogether! Casting option is there and I select my TV, it says it’s casting, but the TV just has that AirPlay screen like it’s waiting for the content to be casted played.

Should I run any of this behind VPN?
Hey, so I have setup on a Synology NAS with Sonarr, Radarr, Prowlarr & Flexget. I don’t download any torrent files directly, they’re all handled by Premiumize and Real-Debrid, and anything else is currently DDL stuff, mainly via mega, nitroflare or send cm, downloaded with JD.
I don’t run any of this behind VPN, but it is all SSL where needed (eg, remote *arr access).
As I’m not downloading torrents directly, is that ok? I know I could in theory just run in all behind a VPN anyway, but I’ve tried running a few things behind a VPN before, and once I started trying to still access some bits remotely etc, it all just went over my head.
So my question is, is there any particular major risk of doing any of this while not behind VPN, even though I’m not downloading torrents directly? And also, I’ve been looking at setting up usenet - and as that is, essentially, kind of another form of DDL, would that still be fine without VPN, as long as it’s SSL?
