One of the reasons for pirating is to get shit for free. Now i do pay around 25$ a month for seedbox and i share that with my fam and friends. What am i doing here ? Im paying more than any streaming services but i just dont wanna pay streaming services because for some reason it feels wrong or something.
Am i doing the same thing which is basically paying and wasting money ?

How to turn off DRM screen recording detection in macOS (at the root)?
1. On my mac I've installed some apps like Rewind which constantly record the screen.
2. I go to Netflix to watch something, screen is black.
3. "Why don't you turn off Rewind?" I did. Still black.
4. "Why don't you restart control center?" I did.
5. "Why don't you turn off permissions for ALL apps to record your screen?" I did.
6. "Did you turn off and on the browser?" I did.
7."Did you try a different browser?" I did, still black.
8."Did you turn off hardware acceleration?" That works but the browser gets slow so I don't want to do that.
9. So literally my problem is: there's some apple bug where I CAN'T watch even though I'm NOT recording my screen.
10. So fuck it. How is it that no hacker on hackernews by now has figured out how to nuke this DRM shit at the root? Anyone know of anything?

How do people pirate DRM protected video material?
Most streaming providers require some sort of kernel module that prevents screen records, right? For example, if my browser plays Netflix, OBS just sees a black screen. How do people get around it. Do they 'intercept' the video at a different point? Do they use devices that act as a monitor but somehow record the images? Do they use a capture card?

Best way I found to pirate EPUB/PDF Light Novels.
Lncrawler is good for some bulk downloads but you cant actually tell the quality of the novels unless you are familiar with the good sites or go to the actually site itself and check before downloading. Best works with Web Novels and I hardly or even ever use it for Light Novels.
What I end up doing is firstly checking Internet Archive. If you can find a good one with all or most of the Volumes you can easily bulk download. This is always my first go to just to check before I do anything else. Just put "title/series internet archive" into Google, easier than just looking through the Internet Archive database itself that I found.
If that doesn't work I then use https://server.elscione.com/, It has a very sizable database and simple and easy downloading, and I also use https://jnovels.com/ in tandem if compensation is ever needed, If the former somehow doesn't have certain Light Novels or use to compare which has the best copies.

Why do people complain about streaming services ads/being too expensive but will never switch to piracy?
