I came to the conclusion that the best streaming site according to r/piracy megathread is theMovieArchive
I first checked every site in the streaming megathreat with the 40 page url security check. I excluded every site which had at least least one provider declaring it as unsecure.
After that I unselected all non r/piracy GOAT sites.
That left themoviearchive and primeflix
Then I checked 5 movies with the criteria subtitles and video resolution/quality and moviearchive almost always had a better quality plus subtitles.
I didn't found stats about the amount of content. That would also be a good criteria
=> With the criteria GOAT, security, subtitles and video quality themoviearchive is the best streaming site according to r/piracy

YouTube ad blocker failed for a minute, oh my gawsh! YT is horrendous, almost unusable…
I fixed the blocker but for about 30 minutes I was exposed to TWO minute ads of shitty mobile games and godawful commercials. I would never be able to use it like that. The argument people make is valid, yes the platform needs to make money, but it was already making money when it had banners and 20 second ads. Now it has these full on blocks, sometimes several for a short clip. they don’t produce any content. Companies that do crowdsourced media should be capped for profit. Same for Reddit imo, how long until they sell this platform out?

Website wasn't working properly for quite sometime. There are plenty of other options but this was my go to website. It wasn't working properly for 2-3 days and now this.

Looks like I need permission to play a single player game that I paid for, and have installed on my hard drive. Do you want piracy, Rockstar? Because that’s how you get piracy.

I had no choice but to sail the high seas because of ads.
I don't usually support piracy but ever since years ago when YouTube started with their ads I didn't mind paying for premium as long as prices were reasonable. Now since then it's like it's crammed down your throat with ads or pay for a higher premium. I was left with a tough choice. Pay for premium with the price increases or continue to sit through the ads. Then I discovered another option. I saw people using other alternatives. I was happy using those alternatives until Google found out. As soon as they found out I discovered revanced patcher and it was back to sailing the high seas for me. Another thing I couldn't do anymore is watching the ad-supported streaming services. When I discovered real-debrid+streamio it was bye bye to regular streaming services. Add in the xmanager for Spotify and I'm set up now. I'm surprised that people still will put up with it. I believe The Internet should be free and so should the content that is shared or downloaded. I'm done with ads. I'm done supporting streaming services that charge you so you have to sit through an ad before your show/movie. Back to the high seas I go!

If you could only pirate one type of digital content for the rest of your life, what would it be? And why?
For me personally I would choose software, I pirate software more than anything else, and I'd rather own the software and get it for free than having to pay a fortune every month for it and not owning it anyway. And pirated software is more useful to me than other digital content.

Thank you all. This is an appreciation post.
I would like to thank everybody who helped me here on r/Piracy and Pirates all over the internet. If you guys didn't exist i wouldn't have been able to get a job by learning all the courses that i couldn't afford in real life. I wouldn't have enjoyed all the Video games that My classmates used to buy and brag about. I wouldn't have Watched all the Movies that i wasn't allowed to watch at home. I wouldn't have read all the books that were too expensive to buy. If you guys didn't exist i wouldn't have Experienced life the way that i did, My life would have been BLUE.

I remember downloading albums from Napster/Limewire back in the day...burning to a CD and then printing the front and back covers...good times!
Miss those days. I also think I appreciated listening to albums much more back in those days. Music was a little harder to obtain and it just felt special.

What do you think about people who argue that piracy is bad?
I don't really care most of the time to be honest, but I do hate how most people say piracy is bad when they give stupid or no reason at all. I also hate how they give me stupid threats like "ur gonna get malware" or "ur gonna go to jail".
And I hate how most people I talk to about it don't even get why I pirate in the first place, like I'm not gonna pay a ridiculous amount of money every month for something that I'm not even gonna own or get to do what I want to do with it, or pay for multiple services just to watch the things I want to watch.
And most of the time, pirating gives me a better product than if I got it legally. But for some reason they don't understand, that's what frustrates me. But what do you guys think?

What sites/programs are useful that's related to piracy but not a lot of people know about?
I'm curious, what sites or programs do you know of that are useful and related to piracy that aren't very well known or aren't listed in the mega thread or any other wiki?

Using revanced because YouTube porn and slop ads
YouTube ads regardless of what data is collected have gone downhill, its always suggestive ads or straight up porn in a small screen or transparent filter, and of course we have mobile game ads which always suck, so I uninstalled the normal yt app and kept revanced because YouTube is actively pushing people away from supporting creators by giving us this shit
Edit: I use newpipe and invidious too but for downloading because I like subscribing
