Kofax Power PDF alternatives?
Company has Kofax but I'm unable to get it for home use because of the licencing thing. Adobe is trash and Foxit costs too much now. Can't find anything about this being cracked or even trail resets. The features like the XML based custom ribbons and such make it one of the best pdf editors I've used too. Even OpenOffice with the PDF extension has issues. Anyone have some alternatives?

Best ebook/pdf setup for Android tablet?
Hey friends,
What's the recommend setup for books. Currently I have a tablet I use to read pdfs and stuff. I basically download stuff from libgen then put it on my Google drive then open that with Xodo reader.
Is there a way to better organize all this? Is there something sort of streamio + trakt + torrentio stack but for books so it's easy to download, and somewhat like an organizer/tracker for reading?

What is the best streaming option for my use-case for kids shows, anime, movies, etc.?
I see plex/kodi/plex real debrid/stremio real debrid are popular options.
I'm not very savvy in this, but not afraid to learn and saw tons of useful posts and guides.
My ideal set up - use in an app on my roku tv to access above mentioned shows?
I have a lot of parts to make my own NAS(I think..more on that later), and have a couple of old gaming laptops (i7-7700? w/ gtx 880m)
I also have some spare desktop parts laying around:
Am4 motherboard (mATX)
Gtx1660
650w PSU
What is the best way to use what I have to get to where I need?
Is there some video somewhere comparing all options and what the usage looks like/compares to each other so I can see what the end result should be like once I'm done?
I saw posts with users mentioning Real Debrid is having to block some shows - is this something I can avoid by starting off on the right foot?
I have Fiber, and bonus points if I can share access to my moms tv (lives at a different address, different network, etc).

I saw someone reccomend myanonamouse here and I'm interested in joining, I'm reading their rules atm and I have to seed back the torrents I download, but I'm very new at this (haven't even downloaded my client yet) I know what seeding is now but how do I do it? Is there any point in switching from Google to Firefox?
So I read saw something recently that said something about Google making some changes to an agreement that will cost Mozilla 81% of their annual income and I didn't really pay that much attention to it.
I told you that to give context. I had been thinking for a few months that I'm starting to get sick of Google wanting to be so far up my arse that they could clean my teeth, so I have been toying with the idea of switching to Firefox as my browser.
Firefox seems to do everything I need it to do so far, but I can't help but wonder, did I jump ship too late? Is the writing on the wall for Mozilla? If not, what are the actual real benefits to using Firefox over Chrome besides the privacy stance?

i'm looking to set up something for my mom who has recently gone blind but used to be an avid reader. i was thinking of getting her an ereader and loading her up with audiobooks, but i was wondering if there was something similar to the zlib app so i could just download audiobooks and send them to her ereader? ive never been an audiobook enjoyer so i wouldn't know how to procure them like most people do, let alone how to pirate them the way i do ebooks. i am very lost 😅

Im looking for holiday collections to stream like the My90sTv website
This may be the wrong sub for this, but it is the first one I could think of that may be of some help.
If you aren't familiar with the website I mentioned, my90stv.com, you can set it to what kind of shows you want to watch, and what year you want to see, and it will just endlessly play content based on your specifications.
What I am looking for (hoping it exists) is some kind of holiday version of this for both Halloween and Christmas content, specifically holiday cartoons. I know some streaming services have some stuff, but this is the piracy subreddit.

What is your dream service that would make you drop piracy?
We all know how good Valve/Steam is as a platform (discounting bad publishers I shall not name) for video games. This is currently the only place I regularly buy from instead of pirating just because it's so convenient, cheap (rip your wallet during sales) and has so many useful features (profile, community, controller inputs, workshop etc.). Also I know this is a privileged take from a 1st world country, I'm sorry for my homies with expensive games nonetheless due to conversion rates.
However it stops there. For any other media consumption, piracy is still more reliable. Namely finding a movie or show you wanna watch, unless you have the right streaming subscription you're locked out.
So my dream service for that would be something like Prime Video, BUT FREE to use and access. You can browse free public domain videos, add in YouTube, but you can also buy or rent ALL movies and shows. I would want regular discounts, like a store page with a category of hot deals like $1, bundled movies for sagas/movie series, a rating and community system for discussions, your own watchlists and notifications when something goes on sale and a bunch more.
I know this is a pipe dream and capitalism would never, but I would honestly never have to pirate media again if such a service existed.

I hate EA.
So I bought a Mass Effect: Legendary Edition on steam when it was the summer sale. Fast forward to yesterday, I finally decide to play it, I launch the game and it asks me to type in some verification code from email, that is supposedly linked to my steam account. Fun part is that I've never had EA account before. So I go to EA support, fill in my first ticket. They assign me an assistant, they asked my name and then nothing, silence. 5 minutes later, the chat closed. OK, let's try it again. I click "Resume" on my ticket, fill in the same information again, attach the screenshot of my problem and then I get assigned another assitsant. I tell them my name and the problem I have.

Settle a debate: A question about whether something is piracy or not
I pay for access to my Football teams matches (they offer video and audio only options). In the UK TV companies are not allowed to show games in video at 3pm on a Saturday (it's a law) they can overseas though. So I use a VPN in Germany (anywhere works) to stream the game. I pay with a legit card via the website. It's legit paid, legit site, legit stream. I am however tricking it into thinking I am not in the UK so I can watch the video. If I forget to activate the VPN I get audio only.
I say it isn't piracy I paid for it. My mate says it is because you aren't supposed to be able to pay for it. I said that isn't piracy.

Is aniwatch still safe?
Until recently I used aniwatch to watch anime.
This is the link I'm talking about: "https:// aniwatchtv.to/home" (I'm not going to post the direct link, so no one clicks it accidentally)
Then I switched to HiAnime and used the same credentials as in the site above. My question being is the upper link safe(I ran it through VirusTotal and urlvoid)? On HiAnime my account is the same as displayed on the aniwatch link but after reading the megathread, I was wondering if it was part of the fake sites, since zoro switched to aniwatch and then that switched to hianime?
