Alternatives for cracked Spotify users
This post serves as a "guide" for those who used to use cracked Spotify and are looking for alternatives after the "ban", some of these are paid while some are totally free, this guide will go from the cheapest way to the most expensive
1. Downloading the music (FREE)
If you only care about your playlists, you can download your music so you can keep playing it outside of Spotify, to download your music, check [this](https://fmhy.net/audiopiracyguide#audio-ripping-sites) section and [this](https://fmhy.net/audiopiracyguide#telegram-bots) section of FMHY, for each section I prefer lucida and Music_Hunters respectively, although the first is often down.
For playing the music, if you're willing to pay for a player (or pirating it ;) ) I recommend Poweramp, it has a lot of options and customizations and is what I personally use, if you don't want to pay, there is musicolet, which I also used for a bit and is pretty good too, but you can also try whatever music player you want, that's the beauty of downloaded music!

I have never used this option before but I've heard good stuff about it, so there is not much I can say about it
3. Switching to a paid subscription (REGIONAL PRICING) (PAID, [FROM $0.36](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1E6r7IScdV2Ne8Zv5zbndCc98E7rTWbfr-BR8z600-EY/htmlview) VPN REQUIRED)
This is one of the best options for the price, as you get to keep your playlists and the algorithm, to move your playlists from one platform to the other you can use [tunemymusic](https://www.tunemymusic.com/), and, taking into account regional pricing, the cheapest you can get is $0.36 per month using tidal in Argentina
4. Getting a ""lifetime"" subscription (PAID) (NOT RECOMMENDED)
Some people, called "upgraders", will sell you a lifetime spot in their Spotify family for a fixed price, this option is not recommended unless you need Spotify on your smart devices (such as Amazon echo or Google home) or you can find a cheap offer with a lifetime warranty.

Australia Laws
Just moved to Australia and I know Piracy is illegal but ‘a friend of mine’ got a message saying “access denied privacy is a federal crime in the- etc” while trying to use f2movies allegedly, and I- they* have never seen that before. Is it safe to surf the web in those areas with a con out here or is there possibility’s of fines? Cheers

What's the best music player?
So unfortunately I've also been affected by the spotify apk failure, now I can't listen to music, cause I don't really have the money to spend on spotify premium. So I've decided to go back to the roots ams just download all my music and listen offline, now I would like to get you Opinions on what are the best free or one time pay apps and programs for music. Best case scenario would be that I also can similar to spotify change the output device from PC to mobile, Thanks in advance.

I will never take things for granted
Now that almost all methods to get Spotify premium features has been patched, I switched to the official one and let me tell you it hasn't been a good experience. You can't select a single song AND select a single playlist AND repeat songs or playlists AND change the timestamps for songs and so many other problems. I hope a new method comes out
(For those that will ask why I can't use offline methods or another app: I use multiple devicee and they all have spotify as the main source of music- ranging from my smart speaker to my PlayStation )

Found a temporary solution for the Spotify mod ban
Firstly dear greedy Spotify folks. Its nice to see you try to prevent people from freely using your app (with limitations like no offline listening) while you still make billions. Therefore I will kindly decide to NOT pay for a subscription.
With that out of the way and (yes I am not paying Spotify a cent just for ruining my day) the current solution is to use an app called Refreezer. I am aware of Spotube but many songs I listen to are not there because it's streaming through YouTube.
With the app Refreezer, it streams from Deezer and you can easily transfer your Spotify playlists to Deezer. Open the Refreezer app and you can directly log in to your Deezer account.
Hoping all the heroes that don't wear capes are working tirelessly to bring the modded Spotify back!

I wish i knew about HEVC/x265 sooner.
I had The Walking Dead full 11 seasons pirated from around 2 years ago, it was the biggest torrent i could find which was 1.6tb. (It's my favorite show and i love to watch it in the highest quality i can) This was when i was first getting into pirating and i just assumed the biggest the best. A couple months ago i found out about x265 encodes and how their size to quality ratio is better than x264. I started downloading x265 encodes as i noticed a lot of my movies were x264, and almost all the movies i redownloaded in x265 were around the same size but the quality was worlds better.
Then i noticed The Walking Dead encode i had was x264, and i wanted to compare to a x265 encode because 1.6tb was a bit too much for me. I compared a couple episodes to loads of different x265 encoders on private trackers and public torrents and managed to find a x265 encode that was almost identical quality to the 1.6tb x264 encode i previously had. The 1.6tb x264 was slightly higher quality (It had some more grain and looked a tiny bit sharper), but it was way more worth it to change to the x265 as it came out to 282.3gb. So i basically saved myself like nearly 1.4tb just from moving from x264 to x265.
Even with The Sopranos i had a 1tb x264 encode from RiCK and found a 200gb x265 encode from IME and the x265 IME encode is actually slightly higher quality, saving me 800gb and giving me higher quality results. I wish i knew about HEVC/x265 sooner. I doubt anyone even cares but i just wanted to tell someone how cool i think this is, and maybe it will help inform other people who aren't clued up like i was on how much more superior x265 is.

One of the only disavantage piracy has is its not immediately apparent how to keep up with your progress when you are watching multiple series. I am looking for a way to easily track this.
I thought windows last accessed may be useful but it updates whenever my torrent client loads.

How to Watch Formula 1 Live Stream for Free in 2025
Hi all. After writing a similar post last year that many seemed to find helpful, I’ll share my mini-research for this year’s F1 streams again. Here is a new list of **free streaming options for all the F1 races**.
As always, a VPN will be necessary to access some of these services (certain countries block streams, so you must switch IP). I've had success using NordVPN for this, but I’ve noticed some stream providers have stepped up their VPN blocks, so let's see how this season rolls.
Once you’ve set up your VPN, here’s what I’ve found for free F1 streams in 2025:

* **India**: $3.99 per month or $29.99 for the year (after a 7-day free trial).
* **Brazil**: $5.99 per month
F1 TV Pro is available in over 188 countries, but if you manage to join a VPN, you might save some $.

Had to pirate a game i pre ordered because the official store downloader isnt working
Im so mad, Im writing this to vent right now, the translation of a visual novel i pre ordered and paid for months ago came out like an hour and a half ago, I was pretty hyped about it and have been patiently waiting to be able to download it for a couple of days, but to my fricking surprise, after waiting for like an hour for the download, the store downloader doesnt work and keeps giving me corrupt files
I dont really want to wait anymore, so Im pirating the game this moment just to be able to play it. Unbelievable, fucking dumbasses
Its very easy to pirate these types of games, but I like to be clean about it and pay to support this type of media, but when the pirate sites offer me better services than the official stores I find it really hard to this
