I hope you all are doing great and thanks for sticking around. I know you'll love this one for sure.
I've just published the 2nd part of the video I did on LinkedIn a while back. https://youtu.be/Li5qn6jhYgA. This second one is about networking, growing your contacts and audience on LinkedIn.
The first part was all about filling in your profile and applying to the jobs. https://youtu.be/asqqz-LcSCw. Let me know what you think.
One of the ways to be more competitive in the job market is to dive very deep into a specific domain and become an expert in that particular industry.
I used to do testing for a VoIP platform and when I started searching for a new job, a lot of recruiters were finding me through that particular experience. I know people who only work for banking products or medical equipment manufactures.
Today’s a friend recruiter is looking to hire a Software Engineer for Infinity Telecom s.r.o with headquarters in Prague. They provide telecommunications, VoIP, SMS services, hosting, colocation to business across Europe & Latin America.
The job can be fully remote or can be hybrid with one of their offices in Czech Republic or Serbia. Check it out for yourself or share it with friends who might be interested in applying for it.

You all know Notion. They usually hire people in a specific location but this season, they’ve got a fully remote position with no particular requirement for the candidate’s location.
It is a Technical Writer position. In this role you’ll be responsible for writing documentation for new APIs, revamping existing documentation and guides, and creating new code samples.
This is a contract position with the compensation range $50/hr - $75/hr. You need to have a technical background with familiarity with REST APIs with the ability to write clean code samples.
Happy to share it with you. You you found it interesting, hurry up to apply for or forward it to someone who might be interested.

For the past year, I’ve been struggling with understanding where I stand as a professional and where I want to head.
In my previous jobs I'd learn new things naturally by just accepting any challenges that I'd come across. That is absolutely great and a working strategy when you are just starting your career.
Now I feel like the opportunities are infinite and I'd like to do some intentional planning and studying as I'm working towards my goal of broadening my technical expertise.
I spent some time making an inventory of my skills and experience. I came across this roadmap tool that helped me visualize my experience in a new way. https://roadmap.sh/roadmaps
It highlighted the things I've forgotten I once worked with and the things I'm kinda battling with, the things I'd like to learn some day and I think I now know what I should focus on in the near future.
They seem pretty accurate and up-to-date. There is a large community behind the project. For each item in the roadmap there is a list of recommended resources where anyone can contribute.
The tool is free, be sure to check it out. They've got roadmaps for all kinds of engineering roles as well as for QA, DevOps, UX Designers, and since most recently for Prompt Engineers. Pretty cool, huh?
Finally a video about remote jobs on my channel. I’m showing the ways I do my due diligence when considering a job at a startup.
Startups fail most of the time but there are ways to minimize the risks of joining a company that is already going under if you do a proper research and to choose a startup that will at least last for the time that you are working with them.
I’ve been working with tech startups remotely for over 6 years and have always tried to follow these simple steps when shortlisting the jobs I’d apply for.
One of the things is to make sure the startup you're joining has raised a funding round a few months prior to you joining them. This way you make sure that it is good for at least the next 2 or 3 years before you move on.
Watch the video to learn about the most important criteria and to pick up a list of resources posting legit startup jobs. If you find it helpful, I'd appreciate a comment and a like under the video. https://youtu.be/8K8gRr06K9M
It was a surprise for me 1.5 years ago that you can build native iOS and Android apps with no code. It was even of a more surprise to learn that such apps raise funding and get acquired.
My new video is on why you should consider learning how to build apps with no code tools. It will help you ramp up on what opportunities that exist in no-code, what rates other no-coders charge, and where you start and how you can use no-code to break into tech.
If you found it helpful, please re-post and share with people who might find it interesting and valuable. https://youtu.be/ot4SuN2v1ck
As a remote worker, I ran into a problem with consistently overworking and tending to prefer to spend additional hour at my laptop instead of going for a walk. Over a year a go I figured it was pretty consistent and I realized it is a problem. So I started looking for ways to solve it. The quality of my work was also declining because it is hard to be focused for longer than 5 hours a day.
I think I was able to figure out a way to trick my brain into doing personal projects instead of clocking an extra hour at work. So I recorded a video to I explain the idea behind my #insteadOfCommute projects that help me achieve work-life balance while working remotely full time. Shared the projects that I’ve completed and the one that I’m working on right now.
I’m looking forward to your frank reviews in the comments because it is the first video I filmed with my new Sony camera. I’d appreciate any tips and tricks on how to improve the quality of the video, sound etc.. https://youtu.be/UbA-kNDs-mo
What I love about learning new things is having to learn to use new tools and connecting with people from the that new domain. I’ve recently discovered music licensing platforms for myself (stocks? not realy sure what the proper name for them is). I mean discovered
in way that I actually figured I need to subscribe to one.
The first thing, I did wasn’t actually checking out their paylists but checking out their careers page. That particular company didn’t have fully remote positions but that gave me an idea to check their competitors’ pages. And voilà, I’m happy to share openings by Musicbed marked with remote-first label. Good luck!

I can’t get used to the fact that we are already living in the future of technologies: self-driving trucks, deciphering human DNA structure. While I’m struggling with creating consistent video content for my Youtube and TikTok, AI has learned to create videos with human-like avatars.
So today is for Synthesia. They are building a web-based platform for creating videos with AI avatars. They are hybrid and hiring for a few remote positions every now and then. They’ve raised over $65M in funding. They are also willing to consider relocation options.
I’m not gonna waste any more of your time and instead I’ll link a video of their avatar doing it for me. Enjoy and let me know what you think about it.
Every position a video like that. Be sure to check the video out even if the positions do not suit you.

With large-scale machine learning model like OpenAI’s DALL-E 2 and Google’s Imagen being in center attention of tech media, a new buzzword has emerged —AI-as-a-service
.
Small businesses and creators turn to “AI-as-a-service” vendors to do the work that could cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars if they decide to do in in-house.
One such vendor is AssemblyAI, which focuses specifically on speech-to-text and text analysis services. They have recently raised their series B funding and are hiring globally.
Hurry up to apply and share the opportunities with your friends.

“What level of English do I need to work remotely with international companies?” This is the most frequent question I get about remote work.
I usually answer that it should be confident and it’d be good to have some prior experience communicating with foreigners. But what is considered “confident”? It doesn’t mean you should speak it perfectly well with no mistakes, mistakes are ok as long as they don’t make it hard for people to understand you.
Your speech can be very simple but it should be fluent enough for people to understand you with no extra effort your comprehension skills should be strong enough so that you could understand both what people ask of you both verbally and in writing.
There is no secret sauce to learning languages other than frequent practice but there is a way to speed it up and maximize the progress over time by either moving to an environment where where people speak this language or by at least taking lessons from a native speaker.
I’ve partnered up with Antishkola to tell you about the benefits of learning foreign languages with teachers who are native speakers. I have shared my experience and thoughts and I hope they are helpful.
You can also use my code to REMOTEEVERAFTER to get an additional lesson if you sign up for any of their courses.

It’s been a hard week for many in the tech industry. News of massive layoffs affective immediate have fulled the news feeds. We kinda pivoted from the Great Resignation back in January to its Massive Layoffs sequel in a blink of an eye.
According to layoffs.fyi data 48,803 employees have been laid off by 325 startups in the past 6 months only. Uber alone has laid off 6,000 people, Getir and Booking.com 4,375 people. < that was in 2020 and thanks to one of my subscribers for pointing this out. 2022 year’s champions are Getir, Better(dot)com, Peloton 2-4K people laid off in each.
Despite the wake of layoffs, just a quick reminder that there are still many amazing jobs out there and you just need one. You will definitely find one that suits you! I have no doubt!
My goal is to help you feel as supported as possible if you have been affected or if you have to search for a new job in these unlucky times.
So I’ve compiled up a list of resources that could help you navigate your way through this.

As markets are going down and recession raging at full scale, it is getting harder for job seekers to find a company that you can rely on in this hard time. This is especially true when you are looking to join a startup.
One thing you can do to minimize your risks when joining a startup would be choosing companies that have recently raised a solid funding round. Oyster HR can be an example of such a company. They have recently raised 150 million dollars in round C at a valuation of over $1 billion which makes them a unicorn 🦄.
They are building a platform that helps companies hire international talent remotely. It is not a freelance board, they are taking away things like payroll legal paperwork, payroll management, social benefits off of companies plate and are hiring international talent themselves.

Hello, folks! Missed me?
Today is for Timely. I had some bad and good experiences with time trackers. I like the idea of timeboxing and having the data to analyze and retrospect. I don’t like when time trackers are used to micromanage team members and for telling them how to do things, I consider that a violation of my personal and professionsal boundaries.
So today is for Timely, they are a product startup from Oslo, Norway built by a company called Memory that is currently expanding the team that is working on the Timely app. You should definitely consider their job opportunities. Hurry up to apply for the jobs and share them with your friends!

Hi, everyone!
I've been playing with GPT Editor for a couple of evenings and have published first iterations of two GPTs.
I wanna share the one I think everyone here can benefit from. It was initially intended to help me find jobs to share with this channel but then I realized I can share it publicly so you could start using it right away. It still needs some fine tuning for sure but it is already very helpful.
Feel free to start testing it and share it with your friends. I'd love to hear your thoughts here in the comments or just DM me. Find it here. You do need ChatGPT subscription to do so though.
Below is the list of jobs that I found using it today that I think are worth sharing here.

The future is definitely here. Nomadic is hiring a Remote Robot Operator.
You will observe pick & place robots who work at different warehouses around Europe, all of that remotely.
The job can be done out of their office in Poland or remotely 10-30 hours/week. They are willing to consider students.
There is no requirement to have job authorization in EU as far I can see and the interview process is only 2 30-minute call with their hiring managers.
However the pay is very modest: ~6 USD/h with no benefits whatsoever.
I usually don’t share this kind of bare opportunities but I thought someone might find it interesting. It might be a great future-forward experience for someone who is just staring their remore career journey that they can use an asset onward to make their CV stand out.
Hurry up to apply for it or share it with a friend who would like to do so. See their home page for examples of what the job looks like.

Today is a very exciting day for the Adalo team and myself. For those who are new here, I’ve been working as a QA Analyst with Adalo for over a year now.
We released Adalo 2.0 today. It the first large product release where my contribution is publicly acknowledged as compared to when I was working for an outstaff company. It is a formality that turned out to be an important one for me.
Adalo 2.0 is a no-code builder that allows to build cross-platform apps with no-code. These apps can be published as web apps, as well as iOS or Android native apps. All with no coding needed. I’m really exciting to share this news with you here. 🚀
If you have just a second, please support us on Product Hunt https://producthunt.com/posts/adalo-2-0. Thank you!

They have just raised a $52 million C-round and it is areally good time to join them.

I recently ran into this tweet where the author was experimenting with the new GPT3 and Midjourney.
I think this is crazy cool and I was thinking of trying exactly the same when I read the news about GPT3. I think this is a brilliant idea and you can take it even further. Hook the entire thing up to a plotter or a print on demand service and you’ve got a ready made business.
Anyway, I signed up for the Midjourney account and of course the next thing I did was I checked their jobs page. Turned out they are a fully independent research lab. Yeah, a lab! That’s what they call themselves. They are self-funded, fully distribute, and hiring!
According to their LinkedIn the entirety of their team is located in the US but they make it clear in their job posting that they are hiring globally! Hurry up to apply and share these with your friends!

Hey guys!
I have deleted the post about Saturday morning voice chat announcement. That was posted by mistake from my drafts 😃!
Lesson is not to schedule posts at 3 in the morning 😂
I will definitely be setting something up for us to chat over the resume game in the near future.
Please stay tuned!
New people keep joining the channel and I’d like to make it explicitly obvious as for how you can maximize the value you get from this channel and increase the number of opportunities you are applying for.
1) Search for the title of the job that you are looking for? E.g “designer”, odds are that the companies that had those jobs previously happen to be hiring for similar roles again.
2) Go through websites of the companies I’ve shared earlier and check if they have any open positions you are interested in.
From time to time I do a shoutout for companies that have talked about before and today is such a day. Today is for Hotjar. They are building a Behavior Analytics software for businesses selling online. Most of the roles are for people based in UTC-1 to UTC+3 but there is one based in the US — Site Reliability Engineer.
They are also famous for their generous perks package. You can learn about them from one of their current team member’s lothwe/video/7083497873945414918">tiktok video.

I hear many people complain about constant changes when they are working in startups. To me I find a lot of contradiction in this. In tech industry change is the only constant, change is inherent.
All businesses even the largest and most successful ones have to adopt to change if they are looking to continue to succeed. Today’s example of this is Porsche Engineering.
They are looking to continue developing their self-driving cars and they are hiring a few engineering positions, a project manager and a head of Calibration & Diagnistics with relocation. English is mandatory requirement, German is a good to have but can be obtained while working there.
Porsche Engineering is hiring through SAMSONOWA & Partners agency for these positions. So send your CVs and cover letters with subject Porsche Engineering_Application
to team@samsonowa.com.
I have a direct contact at SAMSONOWA & Partners and they are willing to consider people from Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus as well as other countries for relocation. Job descriptions are all in German but here is an English translation for them English Translation for all positions

It is usually quite hard to find companies that are hiring outside of the US or Canada fully remotely. But today I found a company that has made my job a bit easier. They were smart enough to add a filter indicating specisfically remote for non US-based roles. And I’m really appreciative of this! So today is for Kunai.
