However, I’ve been adding on dips with confidence because it seems like there are so many positive things in Bitcoin’s future: institutional acquisition, continued HODLing with decreasing supply, possible national reserve, etc. But despite all of this positive news, Bitcoin has been getting absolutely crushed with selling pressure and the general sentiment is horrible right now. It seems like there’s a real disconnect between these moves that are supposed to push the price up and Bitcoin’s actual performance right now. So I wanted to see what this subreddit is thinking. How confident are you in Bitcoin’s future with the current market dynamics? Has it shaken your faith and desire to continue accumulating at all? <!-- SC_OFF -->Hey plebs! Just a question to the people who retired on bitcoin already. Do you include bull&bear market years in your withdrawal rate? We know there are cycles of bull & bear markets, and so far, they are pretty good predictable. https://charts.bitbo.io/long-term-power-law/ So far it was the same every 4 years. Halving year, followed by a bull year, and then the crash a year after. Do you plebs withdraw more money in the bullmarket to survive the 1-2 year bear market afterwards? Of course its a try to time the market, but I guess it would made more sense to withdraw some money in the bullmarket to "live off" for lets say 2 years after while being in the bear market. Because I wonder, usually you would prefer to sell the least amount of bitcoin because as we know, bitcoin is increasing in value while all fiat slowly bleeds. But in the bear markets we often see downturns of 50% and more. This could temporarily kill some portfolio that was able to go into retire mode before the 50% crash. And if you sell your coins after a 50-60% crash it hurts way more probably. I guess I have to make some calcs on what would cost more bitcoin. Withdrawing the same amount ($) no matter if bull or bearmarket, or if one should withdraw money for 2 years while being in the bullmarket, so you don't have to sell bitcoin while being in a bear market for 1-2 years. <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/Generationhodl (https://www.reddit.com/user/Generationhodl)

I get that i can't actually transfer that coin nor do i even have it really. But i am wondering why this is such a bad thing? There are no transaction fees except for the 1€ + spread. I dont really wanna mess around with a security key or cold storage. Also i like haveing the coin together with my other investments and savings on the TR app. Should i really buy bitcoin somewhere else?
