RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

TUESDAY, 7TH MARCH.

THE WORD OF HIS GRACE.

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32).

Notice the opening verse doesn’t say, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his judgment…”; or “…to the word of His anger…”; no! It says, “…I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace….” What is grace? It’s God’s loving-kindness, bestowing unconditional blessings and favours, even to the undeserving.

Grace is the awesome beauty of God’s character; His loving tenderness, far removed from wickedness, falsehood, darkness, and everything that damns. With grace, it’s not according to what you deserve, but according to His mercy and kindness shown you in Christ Jesus before the world began.

The Word of His grace is that you’re surrounded with His love; you’re the focus of His love. There’s no judgment against you (Romans 8:1). The word of the law condemns; it’sharsh and invokes the wrath of God, yet it didn’t make men perfect (Hebrews 7:19). The law couldn’t give life. But thanks be unto God, “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” (John 1:17). We’re under the grace of the Lord Jesus; we’re being built by the Word of His grace.

Give yourself completely to the Word of His grace, which has power and ability; it’s efficacious in itself and by itself to make you what it talks about. Did you notice that God didn’t say you should “build yourself with the Word”; rather, He says, “The Word will build you up.” So, all you have to do is digest the Word, receive and learn it, so you can have it in you, and live by it.

PRAYER

Dear Father, your Word is building my life and transporting me into higher and greater realms of glory. I’m conscious of this blessing, as I walk in righteousness, strong in faith, andfruitful in all things, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

MONDAY, 6TH MARCH.

IT'S THE PRINCIPLE THAT WORKS.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Hebrews 13:5-6).

In our opening text, the Spirit gives an important counsel at the beginning of the fifth verse. He says let your manner of life be without covetousness, and be content with what you have. He could have stopped there, but He didn’t. Rather, He went further to tell us the reason He made the statement inthe first place, which we find in the concluding part of verse five: “for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Again, He could have stopped there, and that would have meant He just wanted us to see a promise, which would still have been nice. Howbeit, He goes to the next verse and reveals something even more profound; He said, “So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” That changes everything! It’s not just a promise anymore; a principle is being revealed. He bases the counsel on a principle. The principle is: “God has said, so that you may boldly say....”

God gave us His Word, so that you may boldly say something inresponse and in consonance with what He has said. That’s what changes your life. The promise doesn’t change your life; the principle does. And the principle doesn’t come into operation, until you act on it.

In applying the principle, you’re not to merely “quote” what God has said. Our theme verse doesn’t say, “He hath said, ‘I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee, so that we may boldly say, ‘I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee’”; no! He didn’t say quote it back. Speaking the same thing in consent means giving your personal faith-response to the Word, on the basis of your accurate understanding of, and confidence in, what God has said. It means giving a response that’s consistent with what He has said. That’s the principle; and that’s what transforms your life. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for causing me to experience increased glory in my life as I affirm your Word today. I’m a success, a victor, and a champion forever, because Christ is my source, my ability and my sufficiency.

Further Study:

2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

SUNDAY, 5TH MARCH.

YOUR INHERITANCE THROUGH THE WORD.

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32).

The concluding part of the verse above says the Word is able to “give you” an inheritance among them that are sanctified. The Spirit of God, through the Apostle Paul, wrote this to the Church. Why would He say this to Christians who already have an inheritance in Christ Jesus?

The reason is clear. First, understand that He wasn’t talking about the ownership of the inheritance, but the inheritance being delivered into your hands. Yes, legally, all things are yours in Christ Jesus, but there’re rebel holders of authority—Satanand his cohorts—who often try to sway God’s people from enjoying their inheritance. Now, Paul, by the Spirit, declares that the Word of God is able to literally deliver your inheritance into your hands, to enjoy, irrespective of the activities of the adversary.

This spells absolute joy, fulfilment and glory for us in Christ Jesus! It simply means your prosperity and blessings aren’t dependent on whether or not your parents or forebears bequeathed any inheritance to you! In Christ, you have obtained an inheritance: “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light” (Colossians 1:12). Peter describes thatinheritance as incorruptible, untainted, unsullied, and eternal (1 Peter 1:4).

Something beautiful to also note is that the Spirit didn’t say the Word will apportion an inheritance to you, but that it’ll “deliver” the inheritance to you. In other words, as you meditate on the Word, the blessings thereof become evident in your life! No wonder the Bible says, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all” (1 Timothy 4:15). Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

The glory in the Word and the righteousness thereof are manifest and evident in my life. My faith is alive and producing results as I put the Word to work. The Word of Godin my mouth causes circumstances to align with God’s perfect will for me, delivering to me every blessing that’s ordained for me in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further Study:

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1 Timothy 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

SATURDAY, 4TH MARCH.

UNDERSTANDING TRUE WORSHIP.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him inspirit and in truth (John 4:24).

When we talk about worship, there’re those who don’t understand what it is. They wonder, “Who do you worship?” “Why do you worship?” “What are the benefits of worship?”

Worship is the recognition and appreciation of the goodness, blessings, kindness and righteousness of God. It’s the recognition, appreciation or confession of His character. For example, when you give thanks to God and say, “Lord, you’re good; you’re kind; you’ve blessed me; you’re righteous,” etc., you’re defining, recognizing, and appreciating His character.

God likes it when you worship Him like that because it shows who He is in your life; it separates Him from everyone else and from everything else. When you thank Him for His goodness, provisions, blessings, and all the wonderful things He’s given you, and done for you, you’re attributing those beautiful works to Him. The necessary result is that He’ll do more in your life.

Furthermore, worship brings to us a greater revelation of God. This is why we worship God and not men, angels or things. Neither men nor angels have the capacity or ability to reveal themselves beyond what they themselves can perceive. You can’t grow spiritually from knowing an angel or another human being; no human can reflect you to you, because every human being is unique to himself. But in fellowship, God reveals Himself to you, and in that process, He reveals you to you, and also reveals your future, your life, your personality, your value and then His purpose for your life.

That’s why when you study the Bible and read of men and women who encountered God, they all had a divine revelation of God’s purpose for their lives, an understanding of the future that God was leading them into, and a revelation of God Himself. Thus, worship for us is something much more than a form, a ritual or mere religious activity. When we worship God, there’s true recognition, a true perception, and real encounter with Deity.

When you’re in church and it’s time for worship, or when you worship in your closet, give it your attention; worship the Lord in reality, with this understanding.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I recognize and appreciate your goodness, blessings, kindness, and righteousness. I worship you from my spirit for making me an excellent person, and decorating my life with your glory. I extol your majesty and praise you for your blessings and wondrous works in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further Study:

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

FRIDAY, 3RD MARCH.

VOICE WHAT YOU BELIEVE.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; AND WITH THE MOUTH CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION (Romans 10:10).

Some Christians are agonized because their personal experiences don’t seem to be in sync with the realities and provisions of the Gospel, even though they “believe” the Word of God. That you believe the Word doesn’t mean it’s going to work for you. Believing isn’t enough. It’s like having faith and not using it; it’s not going to work; you must use your faith for it to produce result.

As the principle in our opening verse reveals, even though you’ve believed the Gospel and are made right with God, you may not enjoy the benefits of salvation and righteousness until you act on the underlined portion of the opening text. Your confession is what catapults you into the vital experience of salvation, meaning that your mouth-work is important. Your mouth was given to you to say the right things that’ll direct the course of your life, beginning with salvation: “With the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.”

The word translated “confession” is the Greek “homologeo” which means speaking the same thing in consent; to say the same thing in agreement with God. When God says something, you respond by speaking in line or in agreement with what He has said. You must do this to experience the blessings of His Word in your life.

God gave us mouths so we can vocalize and use His Word to mould and shape our lives and destinies, in the direction of His perfect will. His Word requires your response all the time. Your response is what you say, because of what He has said: “...for he hath said...So that we may boldly say...” (Hebrews 13:5-6). If the principle works for salvation, it’ll also work for everything that’s based on salvation: deliverance, protection, healing, preservation, prosperity, wellness, wholeness, etc. Therefore, don’t stop at believing; vocalize your faith and act accordingly.

CONFESSION

I walk in absolute mastery, victory, divine health, safety, wellness and wholeness because I’m in Christ, and Christ is my life! His wisdom, righteousness, peace, glory and joy are resplendent in, and expressed through me, in the Name of Jesus! Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

THURSDAY, 2ND MARCH.

YOUR SPIRIT—THE CORE OF YOUR NATURE.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10).

“Heart” in the above verse refers to the human spirit; that’s the core of your nature—the real you. You’re a spirit being. When you were born again, you received the life and nature of God into your spirit; the forces of life are domiciled in your spirit. This is why you have to nurture and develop your spirit, because it’s through your spirit that you make contact with God. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Keep thy heart (spirit) with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

God’s light is in your spirit. He directs and guides you from your inner man. Your spirit is the candle of the Lord (Proverbs 20:27); that’s where the Word of God illuminates. The inward man was created to receive, believe, and act on God’s Word. When your spirit acts on the Word, that’s faith, for faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God.

Constantly feed and nurture your heart with the Word of God. Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone, but by everyword that proceeds out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). When your spirit is cultured and nurtured by the Word, it impacts your mind! Your mind becomes renewed and programmed to think victory, success, and excellence only.

The highest potential of the human nature is in the human spirit, not the mind. When the Bible says, “...the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee” (Isaiah 60:1), it refers to the glory in your spirit, in the core of your nature. The perfections, beauty and excellence of divinity are resident in your spirit. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for your light that’s in my spirit, and the ability to receive direction, inspiration, counsel and wisdom from your Word and the Holy Spirit. My spirit is constantly refreshed and educated by your Word to produce excellence, and manifest righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further study:

Proverbs 20:27 The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

2 Corinthians 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

1 Peter 3:3-4 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

WEDNESDAY, 1ST MARCH.

A NEW LIFE.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9).

A literal interpretation of our opening verse would mean that the new creation is one who was called out of darkness into God’s marvellous light, meaning he had a past of darkness. This, however, isn’t true, because the new creation never existed before, and therefore couldn’t have a past. He has a new life.

The idea of the new creation having a past is mostly common amongst believers who merely see the Christian as “a sinner saved by grace”; one who was once under the power of Satan, but now free to serve God. However, as you grow in the knowledge of the Word of God, you’ll discover that being born again, you’re not one who was taken from the hands of Satan and delivered into the hands of God; you’re actually a new creation. You’re not the man that was in darkness; thatman actually died with Christ. You were born into His marvellous light.

Acts 13:33 tells us something beautiful; it reads, “God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.” God didn’t say, “Thou art my Son, this day have I raised thee backto life” no; rather, He said, “This day, I have given birth to you (begotten thee).” When Jesus died, He died in the spirit; that’s why He’s called the first begotten from the dead (Revelation 1:5), not the first to be raised from the dead. When He was raised from the dead, He was raised a new creation.

2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “…if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature...” You’re a new species—recreated in Christ Jesus and brought into a newness of life: “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ wasraised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).

CONFESSION

My life is one of glory and excellence, because I’m a new creation in Christ Jesus! I walk in the glory and light of God, having been born into a newness of life. I live in the immeasurable and unlimited grace and mercies of God. Hallelujah!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

TUESDAY, 28TH FEBRUARY.

LIGHT IN A DARK WORLD.

Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, amongwhom ye shine as lights in the world (Philippians 2:14-15).

You’re the light of the world; you’re a city set on a hill (Matthew 5:14); meaning that you’re the solution to the darkness in the world. The Bible says, “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people...” (Isaiah 60:2). The gross darkness in the world is a sign that it’s your time to arise, shine and light up your world. Romans 8:19 says, “For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” The world is waiting for you to manifest the glory of God, to free it from the decay and corrupting influences of Satan.

Psalm 74:20 says the dark places of the earth are filled with the habitations of cruelty. That’s talking about spiritual darkness and wickedness that’s prevalent in today’s world. But when you show up, the darkness and cruelty are dispelled. When you come into the world of the unsaved, bearing the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, salvation comes to them.

Your light gives meaning, direction and beauty to your world. You’re the light in a dark world. Jesus said, “...As my Father hath sent me, even so send I you” (John 20:21). He came to give our lives a meaning and then sent us as lights to bring glory, excellence and meaning to the lives of those around us.

This is your ministry. This is your life. 1 Peter 2:9 AMP declares, “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.”

PRAYER

Dear Father, I fulfil my calling, ministry and responsibility as the light of the world by expressing your righteousness, and impacting my world with the Gospel of your grace. I give meaning, direction, beauty, glory, and excellence to the livesof men in my world, turning them from the power of Satan unto you, and from darkness into light, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:

Isaiah 60:1-3 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

Matthew 5:14-16 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shinebefore men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

He’s The Son Of God Indeed

Monday, February 27th
Pastor Chris

He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? (John 14:8-9).

There’re still many who don’t know who Jesus really is; to them, He’s a great religious leader. But Jesus isn’t a mere religious leader or reformist; He’s Himself God. You have to study the Word of God to discover this. In John 5:39, He said, ‘search the Scriptures, for they testify of me.’ The Scriptures testify of Jesus as Deity; He’s co-equal with God. John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”This is talking about Jesus; He’s the living and incarnate Word.

A certain preacher told the story of a professor who came to his church on a Sunday morning. After the sermon, the professor came to greet him, and he asked the professor, “I hope you enjoyed the service?” The professor replied, “Yes I did, but I don’t really believe the things you preached.” Surprised, the preacher asked, “Which amongst the things I said was difficult for you to accept?” “Well, about everything,” replied the professor.

Then the preacher said to him, “Go and study the Bible for yourself; after you’ve read through, come back and let’s discuss.” The man took the Bible home and spent several weeks reading the Scriptures. After reading from Genesis to Revelation, he made an appointment to see the Pastor again. When they met this time, before the Pastor could say anything, the professor submitted: “Pastor, Jesus Christ is God!”

The Professor continued, “You told me to study the Bible for myself, and I‘ve done that. I studied from Genesis to Revelation; my finding is what I’m giving you: Jesus Christ is God.” He found out the truth. Glory to God! Jesus said, “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30). In our opening verse, He said, “If you have seen me, you have seen the Father.” He’s one with the Father; that’s the meaning of “Son of God.”

Son of God doesn’t just mean somebody born of God; it means one with His nature. You’ve got to come to that point in your life where you recognise that Jesus is Himself God. The Bible declares that the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Him bodily; (Colossians 1:19, 2:9) He’s the complete embodiment of Deity. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Lord Jesus, I worship and extol your majesty, for you’re the great King; the Monarch of the universe; the mighty God. I adore you for who you are; the sum total of the divine perfection, powers, and attributes dwell in you permanently. I’m forever grateful to be born with your nature, and life in my spirit; I worship you for this awesome privilege. Hallelujah!

Further Study:

John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Matthew 16:15-17 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

John 20:27-29 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust [it] into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.

I affirm that the anointing of God's Spirit is on me and there is no impossibility in my life. I refuse to see things from the natural plain of life because I and the Father are one. I see life differently; I do not see as ordinary men see! The eyes of my understanding are enlightened by the Spirit of God and the Word. Thereafter, I see, talk and think only through the Word of God! My life is programmed to go upward and forwardonly, moving from glory to glory! I am not moved by what I feel, see or perceive through the senses! My life is regulated by the Word! I dwell in Christ, in the secret place of the Most High, where I am protected under the shadow of the Almighty; my Refuge and my Fortress, in whom I confidently trust! I have no fears, because He’s my safe haven! I am triumphant by the Word, making progress with giant strides. Halleluiah! I reign in life unstoppably, walking in God’s abundant grace in Christ! I am like a tree planted by the waterside, with evergreen leaves! I am lifted always, over and above circumstances! Glory to God!

Keep saying it, don't stop talking it! If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

SUNDAY, 26TH FEBRUARY.

TRIUMPHANT ALL THE WAY.

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place (2 Corinthians 2:14).

1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Then Paul, by the Spirit, in a most poetic and inspiring manner submitted in Romans 8:35-37, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?....Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

With this understanding, when you face tests, trials, and persecutions, when the fierce storms and pressures of life billow against you, refuse to be moved, because you’re more than a conqueror. Your testimony is assured, because you're a victor in Christ Jesus. Nothing can overwhelm you, because the greater One lives in you and He causes you to triumph always, and in every place.

It doesn’t matter how much news of doom and gloom is propagated through the media; don’t panic! The hardship, harsh economic conditions, wickedness, and terror in the world are not set against you, because you’re not of this world. You belong to Christ. Christ is your country. And in Christ, you’re triumphant all the way! Nothing can hinder or limit your victory, progress, and success.

Read our opening verse again, this time, from the Message translation: “And I got it, thank God! In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade.” This is your life in Christ! Your victory, promotion, and prosperity in the midst of recession, inflation, and economic hardship is unstoppable. Blessed be God!

CONFESSION

I’m full of the might and ability of the Spirit, who leads me in a perpetual victory parade. I’m like a tree planted by the waters, that spreads out her roots by the river. I don’t know when heat comes. I’m prosperous and triumphant always in Christ Jesus! Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY:

1 John 5:4-5 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

SATURDAY, 25TH FEBRUARY.

FAITH—THE EFFECT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.

…and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. (Isaiah 32:17).

Our opening verse reminds of the true definition of faith in Hebrews 11:1 which says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Faith is the quiet, confident assurance of what we hope for and the reality of things yet unseen.

That’s the reason Jesus said, “…If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20).

The effect of righteousness is faith; mountain-moving faith; with which you affirm that all things are possible unto you, living without fears, worries, conflicts, and agitations. Isaiah 54:14 says, “In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; FOR THOU SHALT NOT FEAR: AND FROM TERROR; FOR IT SHALL NOT COME NEAR THEE.” When you’re established by God in righteousness, you become unshakeable and immovable (1 Corinthians 15:58).

In the underlined portion of the verse above, the word “for” means because or whenever. In other words, you shall be far from oppression because you shall not fear. Why will you not fear? Because the effect of righteousness has produced quietness, assurance, and confidence in you forever; it has secured you in Christ. You’re no longer in the arena of those who’re oppressed by circumstances, situations of life, demon spirits, etc.; you’re not under the oppression of the enemy. Rather, you’re in charge and in control. To walk in the consciousness of God’s righteousness is to walk in glory, dominion, and the strength of God. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the effect of righteousness in my spirit. I’m established in righteousness, therefore, I’m far from oppression and from terror. Nothing is impossible to me, for I walk in the might, dominion and liberty of the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further Study:

Hebrews 11:1 (AMP) NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

2 Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency [is] of God;

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

FRIDAY, 24TH FEBRUARY.

RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PEACE.

And the work of righteousness shall be peace… (Isaiah 32:17).

In the days of Moses, truth and judgment came together; and if truth bore testimony against you, you were judged on the spot. But it’s not so with the Gospel. The Bible says, “Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven” (Psalms 85:10-11). In the Gospel, mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Romans 5:1 says, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” The Greek word from where “justified” is translated is “Dikaioo” and it means to be acquitted and declared righteous. Which means since we’re justified, acquitted, declared righteous and have right standing with God by faith, we have peace with Him through our Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, there’s no enmity between you and God; the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ has set you at one with God. That’s what the word “peace” or its Greek equivalent “eirene,” mean. It’s “to be set at one again,” to be brought into harmony, concord, safety, felicity, and security with God. There’s no need for you to be afraid that one day, God will recall all your wrongs and punish you as a result. No. You’ve come home to Him; you’re now at rest in Him through Christ Jesus. He made it possible; it’s the work or result of His righteousness that you’ve received: “And the work of righteousness shall be peace…” (Isaiah 32:17).

Being born again, you’re now one with the Lord; He’s brought you to Himself: “Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.” There’s a oneness now. Glory to God!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the oneness I have with you! Being justified by faith; acquitted and declared righteous, I have peace with you; your righteousness has produced peacein me, and for me in your presence; peace with prosperity! I revel in the divine harmony, bliss and joy that you’ve broughtme into. Thank you for this awesome privilege, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

THURSDAY, 23RD FEBRUARY.

AN EXTRAORDINARY AUTHORITY.

For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) (Romans 5:17).

The literal translation of the word “reign” in the verse above is taken from the root word “Basileuo” (Greek), and it means to “king” or “be king.” It’s the verb of kingship. So, you could actually say, “They which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall ‘king’ or ‘be kings’ in life.” They’re going to carry out the functions of a king; they’ll reign and rule in life. That means you have an extraordinary authority.

What you have to do is to learn about the authority you have . What’s the implication and extent of this extraordinary authority? What does this give you? It bestows on you the gift of righteousness; righteousness makes us masters. The Bible says the law came by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ (John 1:17). He came with grace, and broughtus righteousness as a gift. So, when you hear the Gospel andbelieve in Jesus Christ, you become the recipient and expression of His righteousness.

Jesus came to reveal and demonstrate the righteousness of the Father. Now, He gives you that same nature, ability, andauthority to carry on His ministry, to reveal and demonstrate His righteousness. He gave you the authority to do it. You have the ability to unveil the will, purpose and character of your heavenly Father. What a life!

No wonder He said in John 20:23, “Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.” He’s made you the dispenser of His goodness: His mercy, grace, love, and righteousness. Remember, you’re an associate of the God-kind, in partnership with Him, therefore, it’s perfectly legal for theLord Jesus to give you the authority (the same authority that He had) to dispense good things. You’re the expression of His glory, splendour, and divinity. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the extraordinary authority vested in me, to rule and reign as a king in life. I’m a dispenser of your goodness; I manifest your glory, splendourand wisdom; your righteousness is expressed through me today, and always in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:

1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

John 20:21-23 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

Rhapsody of Realities

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES

WEDNESDAY, 22ND FEBRUARY.

PULL FROM YOUR RESERVOIR.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom... (Colossians 3:16).

Your reaction to challenges and adversities of life will be to the extent of the Word of God you have inside you; the reservoir of the Word that’s stored up in your spirit. In the day of crisis, you’re to pull from that reservoir of the Word in you; meaning that your response would be ready-made, programmed ahead by the Word.

Let’s take for instance that a situation has arisen at work or in your finances or your health. What would your reaction be? Your reaction would be entirely based on what you’ve stored in your reservoir.

If you’ve programmed yourself through the years with the Word, to understand, that come what may, greater is He that’s in you than he that’s in the world, there’d be no room for fear. If you’ve programmed yourself to understand that you’re a partaker of the divine nature; an associate of the God-kind, you’d not be afraid. Rather, you’d begin to prophesy and declare the Word in and over that situation.

The Word of God that you’ve learnt, including the one you’re learning right now, isn’t for nothing. It’ll put you over in the day of trouble. That’s why the Word shouldn’t only be in your head; allow it to permeate every fibre of your being, every bone of your body! Keep it in your heart and in your mouth always.

If you notice any anomaly in any part of your body, from the reservoir in your spirit, release the Word: “In the Name of Jesus, I’m a partaker of the divine nature! The life of God is in every cell of my blood, in every bone of my body, and in every fibre of my being! I am “uninfectable”;the Holy Ghost perambulates in my body!” The divine life is in my muscles! It’s in my bones! It’s in my skin! I’m fully vitalised by the Holy Ghost!”

No devil can stand it when you make such bold, faith-filled declarations, from the reservoir of your spirit. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Lord, I’m yielded to your Word to perfect its ministry in me, to permeate my entire being, producing life in me! Your Word is working in me strong, propelling me in the path of greatness as I fulfil my destiny in you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:

Joshua 1:8 NIV Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
