If 2 days of rain can wreck havock in the city, we should revalidate our development.
All the politicians want to take credit of fancy IT buildings but no one wants to take blame for the floods in Hyderabad. Everyone wants to boast about their government by showing posh IT buildings but no one wants to take blame for the lives or poor which are disrupted by floods, which were caused by poor planning of government officials.
The government wants to only work for rich because they get fame.
Government only cares about their reputation and fame, not for our lives.
The government spend so much time in dissing opposition, if they spent 1% efforts in checking proper drainage system today the floods would have been prevented.

I feel so lost and tired
Hi, I hope you're all doing good. I am in a huge dilemma even though things have been cleared out to me a little. I wanted to go for further studies but things didn't turn out well due to personal issues. And now I feel like I am at square one, at the same place I was an year back. I am a 2022 graduate, majored in graphic design and multimedia, also a photographer. As of now I am really confused as to where and how my future would be going. I've been applying for jobs but so far I see no answer, and that puts me up in a worse situation. I don't know what to do and how to do things, I feel like I suck at everything, even though I've been trying hard not to. The anxiety, the depression and the loneliness is eating me up really bad. It was awfully hard to pen this down, I've been contemplating back and forth for a few days to have this posted on reddit, and that's how bad my anxiety is, and I can't help it either. Everyday is a struggle to do normal things and to feel normal which I desperately want to. Have got sleepless nights, and exhausted days, the overthinking has reached it's limits and even though I know the future is bright and sunny, my brain doesn't see it as that, and the vicious cycle continues of feeling lost.

Hello folks!! Thought this might be the right place to ask this question.
I’m a 29 y/o single guy, currently in U.S. Been living here for about 8 years now. For the last one year, I’ve been debating whether to move back to home country permanently. I’ve had enough of this mechanical life, loneliness is real deal. Can’t throw money at this problem, It’s not helping me in any way. Diagnosed with borderline depression. I know I can’t take this anymore.
I want to be close to my family.
Here are my specific questions:
1. what’s something that bothers you everyday in society? traffic? people?
2. How is cost of living/ amenities (I don’t mind spending money to buy a luxury villa somewhere nice)
3. How hard it is to find organic produce?
4. If working in IT, how is payscale? taxes?
Overall, how is life in Hyderabad rn?
By all means, I’m not insinuating that life in India is difficult or anything. When I left I was 21, had no clue about anything. Now that I’m 29, I see things differently. Just wanted to know from your perspective!

I get that we take our Biryani very seriously but what’s one niche/underrated Telugu food you would recommend to non-Telugu people?
Mine would be ‘chamagadda pulusu’, it’s tangy, salty, sweet and sour and just hits differently with rice and a bit of ghee 🤤

Every evening I hear a siren sound around the same time. What is it? Details below.
Every evening between 18:30-18:45 there is a loud siren that goes off in my locality. Earlier I thought that this was the call for breaking the Ramazan fast. But this goes off every evening even now. Any idea what this could be? I checked with my apartment watchman but he was clueless.
