Hello everyone, I'm looking to adopt a puppy.
Hello, I want to adopt a puppy. I've always wanted to have a dog(well many dogs) but never got the chance to. Now I can finally have one.
I'm looking for a Golden Retriever type breed. I'm not saying I only want this breed, I don't have much knowledge on the breeds so I'm using Golden Retriever as a reference. What I really mean is, I want to adopt a puppy that is relatively easy to train, doesn't bark much, and gives happy vibes. Any breed with these qualities is fine for me.
The dog will be taken care of(with lots of love), I'll make sure they have the best life, and all their medical necessities are taken care of. Please let me know anything that is possible.

Help a fellow soul move on from her breakup, and meet new people to date
I’m extremely sorry for making this post here. Hope you can make an exception this one time.
A friend of mine (26F) is going through quite a rough patch. Despite me warning her a million times, she couldn’t see the obvious red flags, and continued to blame herself.
Long story short - Guy is a narcissist piece of shit, wanted everything go his way, would leave her at the slightest inconvenience, promise a future while being spineless to take a stand for her.
He made her put her guard down, and make herself vulnerable around him only to have him walk all over her and be hurt and miserable.
I know at this point she needs to focus on herself, and try building herself back up, address her codependency and self esteem issues. But she has to come to me, asking if I know anyone who she can go out on a platonic date with to distract herself.
She’s looking for someone who’s genuine, a bit old school, caring and understanding. The sole reason I’m posting here is I’ve had the amazing privilege of meeting quite interesting bunch of people here, and I do feel there’s someone who could be an amazing friend and who knows maybe more to her.
If you know anyone who’d be interested to date someone, and take it slow, while being understating of her past and current self, please do share their contact with me.

A group of men posing as policemen decamped with Rs 18.5 lakh from a private employee on the pretext of checking in Hyderabad.
When—
The incident on Thursday evening when Akshay, an employee of Chimanlal Suresh Kumar Textiles Pvt. Ltd. in Mehdipatnam, entrusted Pradeep Sharma with ₹20 lakhs to deposit in the Bank of Baroda, Panjagutta branch. However, what followed was a sequence of events that could rival a suspense thriller.
How—
As Pradeep embarked on his journey in a car with his office driver, Shankar, the unexpected unfolded.
At approximately 9:15 PM, while cruising down Taj Krishna Road, a patrolling police vehicle, a motorcycle, pulled them over. What seemed like a routine check took an alarming turn when another vehicle, a white Innova, arrived at the scene.
The police officers questioned Pradeep about the substantial sum of money he was carrying and its source.
In a shocking twist, they confiscated the bag containing ₹20 lakhs and transferred it into their vehicle. Pradeep was asked to sit in Innova along with them.
A short journey later, near Khairathabad Metro Station, the bag was returned to Pradeep, and he was released. In a bid to resolve the situation, he contacted his office car driver and returned to his owner's residence. Upon examining the bag's contents, it was discovered that only ₹1.5 lakhs remained, while a staggering ₹18.5 lakhs had vanished into thin air.
Panjagutta police upon receiving Pradeep's complaint, launched an investigation into the perplexing case. Police are working tirelessly to ascertain whether the individuals who stopped Pradeep were legitimate police officers or imposters who cleverly executed the audacious heist.

Rental Car Agency (VCARS) Not Returning Deposit
Rented a car from their agency because they offered some of the best rates. And even the service at the time of picking up the car and dropping it off was good.
However, it's been a frustrating experience as they still haven't returned my 10k deposit after 1.5 months. My attempts to reach out to them through WhatsApp and phone calls have gone unanswered, and they've repeatedly cited "system errors" and "website crashes" as excuses for the delay.
Considering the extent of this issue, I'm contemplating filing a complaint at the local police station. However, I face a couple of challenges:
1. I'm not a resident of this city; I rented the car for a brief 2-day trip.
2. I'm a college student, and my parents were unaware of this trip.
I'd greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to resolve this matter

Cheaper areas to live within 5-6 km of kondapur?
My office is near tech mahindra and i currently live in anjaiah nagar. The PGs here are expensive af. 8k for 3 sharing and the rooms are tiny. There’s no place to keep a table and i can only be on bed. All the other pgs here are same. Single sharing costs around 20k. They too are tiny af
I have a bike and I don’t mind commuting around 6-7 km. So could you guys suggest me some areas where i can find rooms for rent(1 RK) or PGs are cheap. Even if not cheap suggest some better areas

Hello everyone, I (34 F) live alone in a gated apartment society near the Jubilee Hills area. For the past two years, I have been hearing loud noises from my roof, sometimes during the day, but mostly during the night.
Last month, I couldn't take it anymore and complained on my community forum. Someone suggested it was due to the elevator mechanism working its way through the roofs.
The noise is mostly as if someone is running barefoot on marble flooring, sometimes it is like furniture dragging and sometimes as if someone is hitting the floor above me with a rock.
I took an audio and posted it on the community forum and a neighbor from another block, who is also a recently discovered high school friend, called me and told me it was djinns.
She asked me who my neighbors were. I told them they were Muslims. She asked me if they were friendly to me and when I said yes, they are lovely, she said uh-oh, be careful.
This was today in the morning. Now it is nearly 2am and I am unable to sleep. There are no noises, but I am anxious in anticipation.
Sometimes when we are in the dark, we feel as if there is some presence, right? It has happened to me before, and now my irrational mind is wondering if it was indeed djinns.
Now, I don't believe my neighbors are upto something. They are the sweetest and even have a lovely little boy.
My upstairs neighbors are also Muslims and they seem well educated based on past interactions.
Now my irrational mind is wondering if djinns just wander around Muslim families, because it is an Islamic concept.
I am a doctor and a scientist and I laughed it off today in the morning when my friend asked me to play some MS Subbulakshmi's devotional song - but now it is night and I am freaking out.
Someone please tell me if they have experience with noises coming from the ceiling - apart from those caused by neighbors.
I repeat, someone did suggest that it was the elevator mechanism, but I need double confirmation.
It is very easy to be a scientist during the day.
Please help. I am feeling very anxious.
