Inpatient mental hospitals that treat patients well?
Does anyone know about good psychiatric hospitals for schizophrenia treatment? It is for my mother54. I want her to get treatment by professionals but I don't want her to go to a place that will make her health worse, please tell me places where they treat people with mental issues with respect.. I just want her to feel better. Please comment if you know anything about this topic. 🙏

Any advice for a visitor?
Hi all. I am planning to come to Hyderabad in Jan next year to attend an exam. I am hoping for any and all advice about Hyderabad where I would be staying for 5 days. I am from Sri Lanka. I will be staying in HITEC CITY.
I need advice mainly about the Airport, Transport and Taxis, Food I should try, and Shopping.
Would also appreciate any tips on cheap hotels for my stay.

Is owner liable?
I live in hyderabad. Last week in my neighborhood a tenant died because of electric shock and his family is demanding 10 lakh compensation from owners. Owners themselves were in big mess as they lost their son recently in an accident who was the sole bread winner of the family. Are owners are liable to pay in this case?

Night out Plan For Hyd
Me and a friend are thinking of spending a night in Hyderabad (in December). We are not exact party animals so we don't plan on clubbing we are looking for places that are safe at night and we can sit there and be in feels (ex:- marine drives in Mumbai). I googled this out but couldn't find anything apart from Hussain Sagar. If you guys have something in mind please help us out, we would also appreciate good restaurants around Hussain Sagar or whatever places you suggest. Thank You in Advance :)

Why are pgs so expensive in Hyderabad
I have recently moved to Hyderabad for job purposes and found out that pgs are much more expensive in madhapur hi tec area a double sharing goes upto 11-12k for a simple pg which is much more expensive than other metropolitan cities .

Is spending 6500₹ on a laptop repair that's not even worth 500₹ worth it
I have an old hp 2000 laptop and it was overheating so i opened to apply new thermal paste and clean the vents and i probably caused an esd damage to it and it dosent boot up and the red light near the charging port indicates hardware issue now the repair shops in ctc are asking min 6.5k for motherboard replacement and 1.5k for chip level repair(which is uncertain) im pretty broke rn and only could afford the replacement and the repair costs
Is this price a good deal for a hp notebook which more than 10 years old if not how much does these type of stuff usaually cost

Dumb scammers in Hyderabad
How dumb do scammers think people are?? I stopped my bike on the side of the road to talk to my mom when suddenly 2 people on a scooter stop beside me.They tried to sell me AirPods worth 26k for just 1.5k which felt a Little fishy to me and also sounds stupid.Everything on the box was wrong including the packaging.One of them became a little aggressive when I refused to buy it..I just went away quickly to prevent any more problems.
Seriously one of the dumbest scams I’ve come across.

I thought changing my daily routine could change cure it..! Even though i practice healthy daily routine i am losing my hair..!

PSA: Don't go cold turkey on either anti-depressants or anxiety pills.
I was on Nexito Plus for my IBS for 6 months (since March 13th) and I decided to stop taking it in September as I was worried about being addicted to them, so I asked a doctor on Practo and he advised me to taper it over two months - 1/2 pill for one month 1/4th for two weeks and then quit. I switched to the 1/2 pill with relative ease and experienced zero withdrawls.
Three days ago, because it was hard to cut the pill to 1/4th, I quit it cold turkey. I suffered severe nausea, fatigue, diziness, insomnia, and headaches for the last 3-4 days. It's getting better, but whenever I'm hungry the headaches get worse.
I consulted another doctor and he gave me two different meds - one is the regular half dose of Clonazepam (0.25mg) for one month 10 days daily dose and then alternate days. The other one is Nexito 5mg which is higher in dose to what I usually take (Escitalopram oxolate 2.5mg) for one month. He asked me to consult him again after one month.
Because I didn't want to go through this whole ordeal again, I quit it cold turkey, but I still feel like shit when I'm hungry or after having tea. But I'm in a dilemma whether or not follow the doctor's advice.
Moral of the story: don't take anxiety pills for more than a week. If you do take it for more than a week, gradually taper it and quit under medical supervision.

Blaring alarms for the past few days(kompally)
Anybody else live in kompally? There have been alarms/ sirens going off for the past few days(about a week now ig?). They go off every 5/10 minutes and don't stop even at night.They are really annoying. Anybody else hear it? What could be the cause?
