Pay money to vote?
Would you pay money to vote?
I've seen a lot of blue collar workers like my househelp and watchman book bus/train tickets to go to their Village and vote.
Indirectly it means that they're putting money out of their pocket to get a chance to vote right?
How does that work out for a lot of people who don't reside in their voting constituency and work elsewhere?

Kondapur 1BHK for 26K - Did I get ripped off?
Its a new construction building, fully furnished with a front facing balcony - around 560 sq. Ft.
The broker couldn't show me many houses as he said 1bhks are in high demand. While I was in this flat, another couple was here checking it out with a different broker (not sure if thats a strategy and they were paid actors).
Is this reasonable? Or will I be laughed at by my colleagues 🥹

Is this allowed?
I'm an avid movie go-er, I usually get some snacks in the intermission. Recently I've started to notice PVR does not give a bill unless you give them your phone number.
I don't give out my phone number to these corporations because I know it'll just lead to a pile of spam and they might also sell it further.
So I have to buy my popcorn from PVR without a bill. How do I know they'll even be paying taxes on it?

Mana Hyderabad Lok Sabha election guide!
Telangana has a total of 17 constituencies out of which Hyderabad is part of 5 seats! Yes 5 seats however in these 5 seats the amount Hyderabad is varies a lot.
1) Hyderabad Lok Sabha Seat (Seat no.9)
Possibly the safest seat in entire state the seat comes under the bastion of AIMIM. The seat which is made up of 7 MLAs has 6 AIMIM MLAs and 1 BJP MLA (T Raja). AIMIM has been winning this seat since 1989 and as per polls is most likely on track to continue to do so. This seat covers majority of the old city region.
AIMIM has fielded its party president and incumbent MP Owaisi while BJP has fielded the infamous Kompella Madhavi Latha. The fight is expected to be mainly between these two as both INC and BRS have limited presence in this region as the place if famous for indulging in communal politics. INC fielded Mohammad Waliullah Sameer while the BRS fielded Gaddam Srinivas Yadav
2) Malkajigiri Lok Sabha Seat (Seat no.7)
The Lok Sabha seat consists of both urban and rural areas covers majority of West and Northn\\ West Hyderabad. Covering important regions of Uppal, Kukatpally, Medchal.
The seat has 7 MLA constituency under it out of which 6 are represented by BRS and one is vacant (BRS MLA G.Lasya unfortunately passed away). Despite being a BRS dominated seat and a BRS safeground the incumbent MP for that seat was Revanth Reddy (Until he resigned in December). Revanth won the BRS safeground due to his popularity in 2019 but now its very different. BJP this time fielded its heavyweight Etala Rajender while BRS fielded Ragidi Laxmi Reddy and INC fielded Patnam Sunitha. The seat is expected to be one of the tighter Lok Sabha seats due to INC being the incumbent, it being a BRS safeground and BJP fielding a heavyweight. The seat is a triangular contest and all three parties have devoted humangous amount of resources to win this seat.
3) Secundarabad Lok Sabha Seat (Seat no.8)
The completely urban seat covering north and central Hyderabad is set for a complete triangular contest.
The seat has 7 MLA seats under it out of which 6 are represented by BRS and one by AIMIM. Despite being a BRS stronghold the party failed to win the seat since its inception in the Lok Sabha elections. The current incumbent MP G Kishan Reddy is BJP Telangana President as well as BJP Candidate. While both BRS and INC fielded local heavyweights with BRS fielding T. Padma Rao Goud and INC fielding Danam Nagender. It is historically said that the party winning Secundarabad will form the government as this has been the case since 1996. However, this year Kishan Reddy is facing severe anti-incumbancy and flak for his ties with BRS until last December election. By trying to use this both BRS and INC are trying their level best to win the seat and it is also expected to be one of the tightest fights this year.
4) Chevella Lok Sabha Seat (Seat no.9)
The seat covering a major part of west Hyderabad and surrounding rural areas is set to be another tightly contested seat.
The seat has 7 MLA seats under it out of which INC holds 4 seats and 3 seats were won by BRS (Although one seat was won by just 268 votes). The INC has fielded incumbent MP G Ranjith Reddy while the BJP has fielded Konda Vishweshwar Reddy. Both of them used to be part of BRS earlier but left due to differences with Konda Vishweshwar Reddy fight with BRS leadership being a huge public one. Kondas grandfather was the freedom fighter and the man after who Ranga Reddy district is named after, he is one of the richest candidates as he is married to the daughter of Apollo Hospitals. Ranjith Reddy to is another extremely wealthy candidate. The BRS fielded Kasani Gnaneshwar Mudiraj the ex-TDP Telangana President. Although the BRS has won the seats last two times (2014 and 2019) the BJP and INC are set to be the ones fighting this election.
5) Bhuvangiri (Also known as Bhongir) Lok Sabha Seat (Seat no.14)
Although Bhuvangiri is a Lok Sabha seat covering the regions of Suryapet and Nalgonda it does have a minor part of Hyderabad (very very minor).

Maybe I should just get a dash cam
I was driving my car and I was behind a tractor. There was 1.5-2 meter gap between my car and the tractor. Traffic was moving but would stop every 10 seconds. So this guy just overtakes me from left on his bike and now he is between me and the tractor. So the tractor applied breaks So did the the bike and there was no space and our vehicles crashed. This all happened in like 2 seconds and I didn't have any time to respond. I stop the car the guy is blaming me for not applying breaks. I told him I can't go left because it's for the on coming Traffic and there is no space between me or the tractor. I was in a very bad mood already and that pissed me off and we had almost a 5 min argument. There wasn't a dent or anything on my car but many scratches. Why don't people drive properly? Just to save like 2 mins he wasted like 10 mins and also wasted someone else's time too.

The region of Ibrahimpatnam comes under this Lok Sabha seat. 1 out of the 7 MLA seats comes under Hyderabad region.
The seat has 7 MLA seats under it out of which 6 were won by INC and 1 by BRS. The INC has fielded Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy while the BRS has fielded Kyama Mallesham and finally the BJP fielded ex-BRS MP of this seat Boora Narsaiah Goud. The INC has won the seat in the last Lok Sabha election and this time it is all set to be a fight between the INC and BRS with the BJP not being a large player as it has a very weak presence in southern Telangana.
Finally, the voter turnout will be lower as many people will be going to Andhra to vote as the state election there are very crucial for the states future.
So unnavalandaru dayachesi vote cheyandi. Ee BJP centre lo elago gelisidi mana vote ki point emi ledu ani anukokandi. Ee sari elections north lo kuda sources prakaram tight ga unnay. Inka ee Lok Sabha Election vala mana Telangana politics future motham decide ayidi. Dayachesi andaru velli vote cheyandi!

Tired of listening what should i wear in the office
I work in tech non-client facing role but still i prefer to wear collared t shirts and basic clothes. Still my fat ass manager who is a women too , twice my age told me that what I was wearing is too casual for the office and what i was wearing was a solid colour collared t shirts and straight fit jeans.
Why these people are trying to justify that people in their 20s don't know what to do!!! And also sometimes she quotes that North Indian girls are a little too fast
She doesn't even work at all , always watching Netflix that too with headphone on so, that seniors think that she is in a meeting and is always talking about her daughter , how she is bravely handling her family and shit and all!! and was telling me to wear kurtis as it will not be casual for office. I have never wore kurtis in my whole life and she wants me to wear because she wants!!!
Then she was telling me what could i wear by showing her obese daughter's photo in which she was wearing a checked shirt which was trendy when i was in 9th class I looked at her straight and said no i don't think this is for me.
WTF i can't believe people in MNCs behave like this and that too the top ones.

Indian-American Student in Hyderabad, what to do
Hello. I’m visiting family for the month of May in Hyderabad. I can understand Telugu fairly well but am not so great at speaking. I’m an undergraduate student in New York that likes EDM music, good food, and good night life scene. Most times I’ve been in India I’ve just stayed in house with family. This month I’d like to see the fun things I’ve not seen before.
Please make suggestions for things I may enjoy. Need not just be bar/club related, but also anything fun to see during day as I’ve not been around much of Hyderabad.
Thanks!
