Life was good in Hyderabad, when street hawkers were shouting to sell things, instead of new speakers.
These people who are selling vegetables and other items, are now using speakers which is very much irritating for me at least, there should be some kind of regularisation on them. Do anyone feel the same?

People who travel 15km + to thier work, How do you handle it?
I tavel close to 20km of distance to and fro form work to home. I have tried out all different options and realised two wheeler is the best option compared to metro, bus or 4 wheeler. Now since most have returned to thier work the traffic in peak hours is horrendous. It takes more than 1 hr 30min to reach the otherside or more than that if there is a new monument/flyover being built. Due to all this my tiredness and stress have peaked. I've gained weight and iam out of enery for rest of the day.
Are there any others who feel they are in the same boat as mine?

The menace of pigeons in Hyderabad.
For god's sake please stop feeding the bloody pigeons!!! The population of these vermin has increased drastically in the last few years. I have also noticed that other birds like sparrows and cuckoos have started disappearing, though I'm not completely sure if this is due the interspecific competition between them for food but they're everywhere!!! So please stop feeding the goddamn pigeons!!!

To the medical officers in this sub
Should your job post (DMO/Jr. Resident) allow you to admit a patient under you as the treating doctor (read consultant)?
My new workplace wants me to do this and I have refused because I don’t not feel comfortable with the idea of me being completely responsible for an inpatient (this wasn’t discussed prior to hiring btw)
I don’t know if I’m being too cautious or if it comes from previous work experience in big corporate hospitals.
What are your opinions?

Urgent: US citizen on employment visa coming to Hyd; any travel ban/restrictions?

I am flying to Hyderabad on a E visa. Will I be allowed in the country? From what I understand foreigners on employment visas are still allowed in - however Emirates is telling me it is not allowed due to covid restrictions. Can someone tell me what the current situation is?

How to update mobile no. in aadhar without OTP?
I found out that my aadhar is linked to a number that I don't use anymore. Unfortunately I have no access to that number. Every online site asks for OTP. I can't provide that. Some people told me to go to meeseva and do biometric verification to change the no. But others told me that due to pandemic the biometric verification is not being done. What can I do?
