one of my friends junior who is 14 is dating a 20 ur old man. we got proof by texting the man w a fake ig account. they have a physical relationship too and it's just really gross. and we didn't know what to do so we told the school. next day she gets suspended. and now she wants to take the account to cybercrimes to figure out who it is

I'm gonna summarize it, he basically said , sir this will also put us in danger, there isn't much we can really do they give us rudimentary equipment which is like a cage and a grappler which isn't really sufficient if the monkeys are in gangs, just try bursting crackers or like tell people to stop feeding them they'll leave. (this was pre diwali like a week before) now they've set up camp and there's a lot more of them in my area. What am I supposed to do now?

Don't we deserve better? (RTA rant)
With the sheer amount of taxes we pay, it is quite disheartening and frustrating to see the quality of resources (I say that politely) that we receive as citizens.
The RTA office is the perfect example of pure neglect showered upon us by the government. No drinking water in the vicinity, no toilets and absolutely no place to sit. Shows zero empathy for older citizens, disabled people or literally anyone who wants to just sit for a few minutes. You just find a tree and stand underneath it while waiting for HOURS to get one document signed.
Why hasn't anything ever been done by the officials/government?

WTF! Have the Hyderabad traffic police started asking for bribes again?
Today, on my way back home from college, I was carrying a small shoebox-sized box on my bike’s tank. It had my project in it. At the end of the Kompally flyover, the traffic police were stopping everyone to check for pending challans.
An officer asked for my license, RC, and insurance. I had everything and no pending challans. He took my license and then said he was going to fine me for rash driving. Like, seriously?
We can barely go over 20 kmph in that traffic!!!
I asked him why, and he said carrying a box on my tank was irresponsible driving. He refused to return my license, saying the fine would be ₹2000, but then started hinting that I could just settle it there.
I told him that I had no cash and asked him to go ahead and fine me. He made me wait for a while, and I started getting restless. After a while I asked to let me speak to his SI. Then he literally shouted at me and let me go.
WTF just happened?

tldr of the threads:
there was a national level hackathon where a team has build a browser and named it ping they are runners and the award price for them was nearly 75L and some central ministers have also mentioned about them in the tweets
but here the interesting thing
they have just used the brave code (they even haven't changed the file structure and name)
in the github commits they have just focused on removing brave trademark and replaced with theirs (proofs are present in the above tweet)

My senior whose child goes to a private school was mentioning that the school administration doesn't allow students to bring non-veg food (even eggs) because vegetarian parents' sentiments are hurt.
1. Is it legal to do so?

Good IIT Foundation Schools in Hyderabad
Ok, first the disclaimer:
I am not the one forcing my child, but it's the other way around.
My child is studying in class 6th in ICSE board. He is crazy about science and tech. Dude is book worm, even reads labels of chips packet that he is eating and searches about the ingredients listed on it and their effects and their chemical compositions. Watches tech channels on YouTube, pesters me about buying STEM kits. But he is not class topper, just gets good grades enough, avoids writing as much as possible but reads. So not sure how his future is going to pan out.
He recently spoke with his cousins who are going to IIT Foundation Schools and realised he is being barely taught basics in ICSE. Nanna, ' there's width in ICSE, but no depth' are his words. ' We are reading many subjects but not the ones I am interested in' is what he said. He too wants to join IIT Foundation school so that he will have solid basics in science and math.
I detest Sri Chaitanya and Narayana types schools so they are out of the picture. With ecent FITJEE scenario, FITJEE too is out of the picture.
Now the question: Are there any good IIT Foundation Schools in Hyderabad that teach concepts well?

Telengana caste census
I have been living in Hyderabad for a few years now. Few people, claiming to be hired from GHMC, visited my house yesterday. They wanted us to fill the Caste census form. I don’t remember filling similar form earlier in my life or i was simply negligent.
This time, it triggered me. Its 2024 and govt is still collecting caste data. They want to provide equal opportunities/ rights to people from the same caste. Shouldn’t it be based on merit rather than caste? I am not from GEN caste but I never used my caste for getting college seat or preferencial treatment. I am sure, behind the scenes, they will (mis)use this data for further strengthening their position in the state by asking for votes (read special treatment like supplying money, alcohol, etc before the elections) by targeting areas based on this data.
I further went on to think about how I work literally half a year for the government and pay these people so that they can go door to door and collect the caste data! 😂 It triggered me so much that patriotic guy inside me almost died. I feel like moving to a country where i get better returns to my hard earned money. But then I will not get similar samosas, dosas, biryani, etc in foreign country. 😑 Love for the indian food and family is costing me big time.
All in all, divide and rule is still going strong in India. What is your opinion on caste census?

OMSree Prithvi - wanted to get an opinion on the builder and why cost is higher than other builders around him
Hi guys, I am trying to buy an apartment for my parents. We have been living in Sainikpuri for over 15 years now and my parents don't want to move far but need a bit more space than our current housing situation. I checked out Omsree builder in Kowkur and Yapral areas and really liked their plans. They are quoting 6600/ sqft. But builders like GK right next to them are asking 5700. Wanted to get some opinions on Om Sree as a builder and If these rates are negotiable and if they are to what extent? If any of you signed in OmSree Prithvi if so at what price and why did you choose it.
