A look at total failure downtown Redding California. Don’t worry, they have all the big boxes on the outskirts of town. Where the judges, lawyers, clerks, etc live and shop. I’m sure there are some country clubs as well.

-15 min city concept
-Brand new retail vacant
-Existing office/retail vacant
-Extremely ugly all earth tone mixed use/housing
-Awnings added to old buildings to make them fit in.
-You have to have an app to park
-Homeless Roaming around all over

It’s interesting to me that there is a brand new, tens of millions of dollars, courts house going up here. Across from a perfectly fine existing court house. While just a few blocks away “downtown” Redding is in complete free fall.

Shasta County California board of supervisors is a real-life, modern-day, soap-opera, train-wreck. I Felt embarrassed to even sit there and listen. Seems more divided then ever.

This a beautiful place and has loads of great people. The towns here are in sharp decline and are being managed horribly. Homelesss and vacancy is exploding.

Hours spent this morning debating a “code of conduct” total wast of time.

-Members not allowed to wear American flag clothing.
-It takes 178 day to get a roof over one homeless head.
-The library is full of homeless
-Downtown Redding is in shambles
-Homeless lady told me she had a baby a month ago, the state took the baby and left her on the street.
-Empty retail/commercial space all over
-City hall has homeless all over the front yard.

So much talking, red tape, gov nonsense. We the people could clean up the homeless in this town in a week with all the abandoned space, utilities, food, etc. Instead it’s getting much worse and people bicker all day in a chamber.

I realize I’m only catching a glimpse and don’t know all the issues but it was hard to watch and listen to.

The last 10 min shows the vote on the code of conduct.

I spoke to him after and he told me he’s “on comitee” for Trump. He also told Rebecca and I princess Diana will be the queen of England on the 25th and much more which we will discuss on Monday’s show.

Magazines currently in the grocery store in America. You can see Martha in a bathing suit for 16 dollars. Queen Beyoncé, God save the king, and Trump on the enquirer. Oh and civil war.

People working here and shopping here are infirm and sick. It’s obvious if you look. 99% of the products sold here are absolute poison.

We needed lemons and alkaline water but it’s Harder and harder for me to enter these places. Trying to figure out to totally avoid it moving forward.

Good morning!☀️


I woke up today in tears as I often do missing my son. I have a suitcase full of postcards, trinkets, soill, sand, etc. I pray one day I’ll one able to give him. I’m going to share some of that story soon on my locals. It’s pain so great that often i just curl up and breath and pray.

Then I checked my phone and these voice memos from incredible children I stayed with in Colorado was waiting for me. (Plane from the 4th in 2nd part of vid) The best part of this journey for me has been to meet you and break bread with so many of you. Thank you ❤️
