❗️🇸🇾 The National Dialogue Conference will be held on 4-5 January 2025 in Damascus

The Syrian administration has announced preparations for the National Dialogue Conference, which is intended to be the starting point for a major political transition in the country. It will be held on 4-5 January 2025 in Damascus.

The conference will bring together 1,200 figures comprised from Syria’s broad array of demographics from civil society, religion, politics, law, etc., as well as the Syrian diaspora from abroad.

Among the main decisions to be taken at the conference are:

🟢 Dissolution of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and all armed factions.
🟢 Formation of a committee to draft a new constitution.
🟢 Establishment of an advisory body to the interim president.
🟢 Establishment of a new government within a month of the conference.

The event could be a unifying start for all Syrian provinces. Between 70 and 100 participants from each province, representing different social and ethnic groups, are planned to attend.
