Friesland has been involved in numerous naval operations in recent years, in particularly shadowing Russian vessels in the Baltic waters.

After Russian infantry units began storming northern Kupyansk city last night, the Ukrainian defensive lines east of the Oskol River began to crumble. Russian forces captured an incredible 87 sqkm of area. Multiple fortifications have fallen to Russian control.

Note, the area captured is not only some of the most densely trenched territory, but Russia had been unable to move the front in over 12+ months - until now.

Fighting has begun for the large town of Petropavlovka.
