🇺🇸🇮🇷 - President Trump reportedly told his team he believed Iran would capitulate before closing the Strait of Hormuz. He also said that even if Iran blocked it, the United States would be able to overpower them and reopen it. The strait has now become Iran’s biggest leverage point, according to the WSJ.

🇺🇸🛢️ - Crude oil closed at $97 per barrel, while Brent crude closed at $103 per barrel.
