Bill Gates backs climate scientists lobbying for large-scale geoengineering

"Professors David Keith, of Harvard University, and Ken Caldeira of Stanford, [see footnote] are the world's two leading advocates of major research into geoengineering the upper atmosphere to provide earth with a reflective shield. They have so far received over $4.6m from Gates to run the Fund for Innovative Climate and Energy Research (Ficer). Nearly half Ficer's money, which comes directly from Gates's personal funds, has so far been used for their own research, but the rest is disbursed by them to fund the work of other advocates of large-scale interventions.

According to statements of financial interests, Keith receives an undisclosed sum from Bill Gates each year, and is the president and majority owner of the geoengineering company Carbon Engineering, in which both Gates and Edwards have major stakes – believed to be together worth over $10m.
Another Edwards company, Canadian Natural Resources, has plans to spend $25bn to turn the bitumen-bearing sand found in northern Alberta into barrels of crude oil. Caldeira says he receives $375,000 a year from Gates, holds a carbon capture patent and works for Intellectual Ventures, a private geoegineering research company part-owned by Gates and run by Nathan Myhrvold, former head of technology at Microsoft.
According to the latest Ficer accounts, the two scientists have so far given $300,000 of Gates money to part-fund three prominent reviews and assessments of geoengineering – the UK Royal Society report on Solar Radiation Management, the US Taskforce on Geoengineering and a 2009 report by Novin a science thinktank based in Santa Barbara, California. Keith and Caldeira either sat on the panels that produced the reports or contributed evidence. All three reports strongly recommended more research into solar radiation management." (2012)

New Study Shakes Up Heart Disease Theory: High Cholesterol May Not Mean High Risk

"A one-year prospective study found no correlation between atherosclerosis and extremely high cholesterol levels in 100 otherwise metabolically healthy individuals who had followed a ketogenic diet for an average of five years.

A new study from The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, in collaboration with researchers from multiple institutions, challenges the long-standing belief that high cholesterol directly causes coronary artery disease in metabolically healthy individuals.
Published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology: Advances, the study examined 100 metabolically healthy adults who had followed a long-term low-carbohydrate ketogenic diet and developed elevated levels of LDL cholesterol. These individuals, known as Lean Mass Hyper-Responders (LMHRs), were found to have high LDL-C and ApoB levels without evidence of baseline coronary artery disease or disease progression over time.

The findings suggest that in this specific population, traditional cholesterol markers may not predict heart disease risk as previously assumed. The authors emphasize the need for further research and a more personalized approach to cardiovascular risk assessment and treatment."

REINER FUELLMICH PRISON SENTENCE

Reiner Fuellmich sentenced to 3 years and 9 months minus 1 year and 1 month of the time spent in prison on remand:

Now facing 2 years and 8 months in prison.

Fuellmich spent 1 year and 6 months on remand, but the court ignored 5 months, because they accused the defence of deliberately and needlessly prolonging the case.

In addition, Fuellmich is to pay back the €700.000 loan plus court fees.

Dr. Reiner Fuellmich, a German lawyer known for his work on the Corona Investigative Committee, was convicted and sentenced to 3 years and 9 months in prison in Germany on charges related to embezzlement of funds from the committee he helped found.

The case centers on accusations that Fuellmich embezzled €700,000 by taking out personal loans from the committee's donations, which he and his supporters argue were documented and intended to safeguard funds from potential government seizure, with plans to repay after selling his house.

Much of the trial has been controversial, with claims from Fuellmich’s defenders that the prosecution was politically motivated and that the legal process has involved irregularities and harsh prison conditions, including prolonged pre-trial detention and solitary confinement.

The court ultimately dismissed most charges but upheld the embezzlement charges related to the loans, arguing that Fuellmich should have kept the money available for the committee at all times, even though similar loans by others were not prosecuted in the same way.

His supporters consider him a political prisoner, alleging that the case was constructed to prevent his continued activism and legal challenges to official COVID-19 narratives.
