The CDC said 92% of Americans took at least one shot, but it turns out the CDC was double-counting people. 25% of American adults took zero COVID shots.
And when it comes to the ballot box, "Let me tell you — this 25% is going to vote," attested @P_McCulloughMD. "25% of the adult population who's gonna vote are going to be charged on the vaccine issue. Only 60% of adults vote in a presidential election."

🚨BREAKING: Chicago Workers Who Refused COVID-19 Vaccines to Be Reinstated with Back Pay and 7% Interest on Top
🇺🇸💉Chicago workers who were fired over refused COVID-19 vaccines today received the ultimate vindication: the city's administrative law judge for a state agency ruled the city has to reinstate workers and make up for lost wages and benefits.
From the Chicago Sun-Times:
"The laid-off unionized Chicago employees will receive back pay, a 7% interest, and will be fully reinstated with seniority.
Unionized City of Chicago employees fired or disciplined for violating COVID-19 vaccination requirements must be reinstated and repaid for any loss of wages or benefits, a state hearing officer has ruled.
Administrative Law Judge Anna Hamburg-Gal said the city violated the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act by not bargaining in good faith over vaccine requirements and changes in sick leave policies. Her ruling, issued Wednesday, requires the city to “make whole” workers who lost pay and benefits, plus 7% annual interest."
These workers are, at last, the winners: they kept their health and their jobs and received full pay. They are still victims of Covid-19 vaccine promoters: no one will compensate them for months of worry, stressing out about not having money, family tensions, and more.

Mathias Desmet’s explanation for how a society fell into lockstep with a false & dangerous narrative seemed to me to be plausible though it was an entirely new idea to me. I’ve never been one of the gang, I didn’t automatically like football or certain bands or fashions just because others did. It never occurred to me that this was one of the keys to acceptance, because that wasn’t important to me, either. Still isn’t.
So I listened to Desmet and thought “Oh well, yet another thing I’ve never understood about crowds and about the individuals that make them up”. I couldn’t critique it, either way.
But I have heard him say that a full blown long run conspiracy was absurd.
I don’t think that makes him controlled opposition (though if he is, this is it’s expression).
No, it makes him normal! Because most people don’t believe it’s even possible & think the very idea is tin foil hat absurd.
I would have been alongside them!
But I’m a scientist first and foremost so I don’t discard evidence from an a priori belief that since certain things are impossible, anything leading us in direction must be false.
I do think that’s the self-censorship that the majority apply without knowing it. It’s not an unreasonable shortcut, except when it’s wrong.
A serious weakness modern society has is a near total absence of faith. It’s said that “if you don’t believe in God, you don’t believe nothing, you’ll believe anything”.
Lack of belief (maybe I mean faith, I’m not sure, as I’m recently awake to recognition of forces greater than us) has attenuated if not excised a recognition even of the idea of evil: deliberate, planned harm of others for its own sake, cruelty without any concern for the suffering of others.
Many people to whom I’ve explained what I think is happening have responded with “No one would be so cruel!” or “Things like you describe used to happen in the past, but modern people aren’t capable of that”.
I see no reason at all why Desmet should be immune from such things.
I’m not saying he’s definitely not guilty of those things critics throw at him. Only that it seems entirely plausible to me that what he says fits perfectly with a mental model that’s common enough.

A local MP of someone I know replied to a question of sovereignty associated with the WHO treaty and IHR.
Their MP reassured them but I don’t think they’re correct. Here’s my take.

I’m completely open to challenge on this, but think I’m close to the truth.
If that treaty and the associated but legally separate International Health Regulations are approved, we have transferred sovereignty to an unelected, unaccountable body.
Now, there’s no reason to do this. In the face of a new pathogen, WHO doesn’t know what the best responses are. Nobody does. It’s NOVEL. The way humanity has solved these novel problems throughout history is to make best choices where you are, at the level of community up to country, communicating outcomes as we go, and from these differing outcomes, picking the optimum responses.
If one body has power to decide, two things are inevitable. First, we won’t have the optimum response, because we’ll never know what that was. The trial wouldn’t have been run. So we’ll stop learning. Secondly, it’s entirely possible that what’s optimal for Nigeria is different from what’s optimal for Norway. We'll have sacrificed autonomy and democracy for no upside.
Do not permit this.
There’s an even more paradoxical problem. Mild illnesses spread without restriction, because people with them aren’t much slowed down by them. Common colds are a case in point. So these can easily go “pandemic”, but no one cares.
Moderate illnesses like severe influenza spread less readily because the most infectious people are also really quite sick & automatically (without being instructed by government) withdraw from general social mixing. That slows infection.
Take the most serious illnesses. Ebola does not spread extensively. Through its earliest emergence it’s never been seen as a sizeable outbreak in more than two countries at once and has always burned out swiftly. This isn’t luck. These diseases make those infected so seriously unwell that they stop interacting and possibly spreading it in the first few days. They’re self terminating. Add some precautions but no more than awareness and distance & it is stopped in its tracks. It cannot be otherwise. That’s how human immune systems work and they’ve developed over millennia and more by being in this soup of pathogens.
I’m saying severe disease global pandemics are immunologically implausible. Perhaps impossible.
WHO knows this. Your national public health officials know this. Pharma and the regulators know this.
So why are they all pretending there’s suddenly some huge risk that requires something that’s NEVER happened before in history?
Giving up the power to decide things in your country is the worst form of treachery I can imagine.
It’s totally unnecessary and completely unacceptable.
You know why they’re doing it?
No, neither do I.
But I’ve demonstrated there’s no good reason to do this.
If somebody wanted to undermine democracy and put in place a supranational system, well, this would be a darned good way to start.

🆘 BREAKING: CDC Director Gives Shockingly False Testimony to Congress
🇺🇸🤡CDC Director Rochelle Walensky just misled Congress on COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness against viral transmission, and even falsely claimed that Cochrane's Editor-in-Chief "retracted" the summary of the review on face masks.
The astonishing falsehood she made was her response to Congressman Andrew Clyde’s question about the Cochrane review which found that wearing face masks in the community “probably makes little to no difference” in preventing viral transmission.
Walensky enthusiastically stated, “I think its notable, that the Editor-in-Chief of Cochrane, actually said that the summary of that review was…[stumble]..she retracted the summary of that review and said that it was inaccurate.”
However, the summary of the review was not retracted, nor have the authors of the review changed the language in the summary.
Jefferson, lead author on the Cochrane review said, “Walensky is plain wrong. There has been no retraction of anything.”
