“Drug studies sponsored by drug manufacturers tend to report higher drug efficacy than studies not sponsored by the drug company, a new report published in the Journal of Political Economy on Oct. 7 finds.
The report found a ‘sponsorship effect’ that tends to bias sponsored studies toward reporting higher drug efficacies. The author could not find differences in study design between those funded by drug companies and those not.
‘Removing the sponsorship effect would reduce the difference in efficacy ... by about 50%,’ Tamar Oostrom, an assistant professor of economics at Ohio State University, said in her paper.”

Disgraced Ex-NYC COVID Czar Committed Perjury to Push Vaccine Mandates
NYC’s disgraced ex-COVID czar Dr. Jay Varma may have perjured himself by repeatedly testifying under oath that vaccination is the only way to stop the spread of coronavirus, critics said.
Varma, who served as ex-Mayor Bill de Blasio’s senior health advisor during the heart of the pandemic—and was caught in recently released hidden-camera video boasting about attending drug-fueled sex parties during the pandemic—confessed in the footage that natural immunity to the deadly virus is just as good as the jab.
“It doesn’t make any difference at all,” Varma said in one clip, after a woman he was speaking to claimed to know people who wouldn’t have sex with unvaccinated partners.
“Everybody’s been exposed to the virus. Whether you’re exposed to the virus because it’s breathed on you or because you got injected into you. It’s the same immune response.”
However, while testifying on the city’s behalf in multiple lawsuits from businesses and ex-city employees opposing COVID mandates, Varma sang different tunes.
“The COVID-19 vaccine has been shown to offer those persons with a prior COVID-19 infection greater protection against reinfection,” said Varma in a sworn October 2021 affidavit.

🚨 CHD Asks Supreme Court to Hear Case of 9-Year-Old With Asthma Forced to Wear Mask
A mother and her 9-year-old daughter, whose school forced her to comply with a COVID-19 mask mandate even though she has asthma, are petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court to hear their case after a lower court partially dismissed it in April.
The school denied repeated requests by Sarah’s mother and pediatrician for a medical exemption, despite evidence the mandate severely harmed Sarah, the petition alleges.
The petition asks:
“Is there a fundamental right to medical exemption from public health mandates that may place a child at serious risk of harm?
“Alternatively, can the government deny medical exemption requests, compelling vulnerable children to undergo medical interventions against medical advice, without the obligation to demonstrate that such denials serve a compelling state interest?”
Given that the FDA continues to allow emergency use authorization of a growing number of unapproved drugs, devices, products and vaccines, it is urgent that the court clarify the extent to which these medical interventions can be mandated, the petition says.
