Her efforts to conduct a hydroxychloroquine trial were systematically sabotaged. On April 1, her protocol was approved. By April 2, she was told to start a clinical trial. But on April 13, the Gates Foundation sent a cryptic letter inquiring about her progress. Naively, she thought they wanted to invest. Instead, they were tracking her.
By April 20, the FDA shut her down, only to restart her trial with a placebo control requirement, delaying her work by weeks. Then, a STAT News article—never publicized but sent to every IRB and FDA agent owned by venture capitalists—further stalled her. “They can’t afford to put that on stage,” she said. “The public would go crazy.”
Her IRB, the toughest she deliberately chose, dropped her study by May, prioritizing the vaccine trial instead. “We got the vaccine study,” they told her, leaving her to scramble for another IRB. This cost her two months of critical time.
Dr. Hazan persisted, developing an ivermectin, doxycycline, and zinc protocol with Dr. Borody. But approvals dragged until July, and her small 30-patient study wasn’t completed until August. The system, she realized, was rigged to prioritize the vaccine over proven treatments.
This is a story of courage against a machine that silenced truth to push a narrative. Dr. Hazan’s experience exposes the dark underbelly of the COVID response—where science was sidelined, and lives were secondary to agendas.
