If you're seeing the price go up (in $ value) its only because of what it's paired with

For example upbnb is paired with bnb so since bnb is going up the price of upbnb is also going up (even if no trade volume)

I think there was xupbnb which is what you got for staking upbnb, the amount of xupbnb in your wallet would remain the same but when unstaking you'd get more upbnb
