The Russian military is completing a mop up of enemy forces in Avdeevka. They've found NATO ammunition in a UAF stronghold, as well as a neighboring warehouse full of ammo produced by the U.S. and the Czech Republic. They've also found the dry rations of foreign mercenaries from Canada and Georgia. This has been reported by the Russian Defence Ministry.
Large-scale battles for Avdeevka ended on February 17 with a complete defeat for Kiev. Avdeevka is a strategic point in Donbass and the key to a peaceful future for Donetsk. It was from here that constant shelling was carried out, and it was this line that the enemy had been fortifying as best it could for ten years.
And somewhere behind the soldiers, literally 10 minutes from the explosions and gunfire, doctors were performing heart surgery on Donetsk citizens, scientists were working, women were giving birth to children, and roses were blooming along the roads...
How did people live at the intersection of war and peace? Watch our new documentary 'War and Peace' to find out.

Anna Chapman's new documentary film, 'Red Alert: The Arab Spring', is about US military interventions in the Middle East. You'll see exclusive interviews with US military officers and learn facts that Washington has been hiding for decades.
The United States has unleashed wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria, leading to disastrous consequences for these countries. 'We’ve promoted war after war, after war… None of it has really benefited the American people. But it has benefited a global elite,' states Richard Black, a former member of the Virginia Senate.
American officials invariably come up with excuses for launching military actions, such as protecting Americans or opposing terrorism. 'There is always some spurious pretext for military or economic intervention to destabilize a target nation,' explains American journalist Vanessa Beeley.
What are the real motives behind American 'humanitarian missions'? Watch the newest episode of Anna Chapman's investigative series, 'Red Alert. The Arab Spring', to find out.
