MTG slams ‘insane’ idea to hand Ukraine nukes
US Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene suggested that plans to hand nuclear weapons to Kiev might be Biden “trying to start a nuclear war and use it as the reason to stop the transfer of power to Trump.”
“This is insane and completely unconstitutional, possibly an act of treason,” she wrote on X Tuesday, reacting to a post by entrepreneur Mario Nawfal that described the purported talks as a “desperate” move “to tip the scales against Russia” before President-elect Donald Trump takes office in January.

Crackdown on Aussie ‘Ghost Colleges’: International students and agents admit to exploiting Australia’s visa system
Indian students and migration agents have acknowledged exploiting Australia's visa system through "ghost colleges,” institutions that provide no real courses but enable international students to work while waiting for residency.
Canberra recently tightened student visa regulations, shutting down approximately 150 ghost colleges, which are often associated with unscrupulous agents, particularly from India.
International students staged protests last month, voicing fears of being forced to return home and warning Australians, "You need us," despite widespread perceptions that they are complicit in fraud within the vocational education sector.

Keir Starmer faces backlash as petition for early election surpasses 2M signatures, Elon Musk calls UK ‘tyrannical police state’
The British PM has blamed the recent petition to hold another general election just four months into his torrid term on “tough but fair” decisions he says he had to make concerning the budget.
He said he “wasn’t surprised many wanted a rerun,” claiming the petition merely reminded him how many people didn’t want him and his Labour party in the first place, while Elon Musk has branded the UK a “tyrannical police state” when quoting a post about the petition.
The petition comes just days after a survey showed Labour had slipped three points behind the Conservatives in the opinion polls, down from an 11-point lead after the election.

Czechia’s top spy fears Russian victory over Ukraine
Hardline Czech intelligence chief Michal Koudelka has warned that a Russian victory over Ukraine would pose long-term security threats to the European Union, particularly in terms of destabilization.
“If Ukraine loses, or is forced to accept a bad peace deal, then Russia will perceive that as victory,” Koudelka told Bloomberg, emphasizing that Moscow would build up its forces again. “Russia would spend perhaps the next 10 to 15 years recovering,” he warned. “And preparing for the next target, which is Central and Eastern Europe.”
He offered no evidence to support his assertion

Disney settles multi-million-dollar gender pay lawsuit backed by 9K women
Court papers filed in Los Angeles Monday night confirmed that the entertainment giant had paid $43.25 million to settle the class-action lawsuit backed by over 9,000 female claimants.
Disney had attempted to force each claimant to file individually, but a judge ruled in favor of the class action case, which had been slated to begin in May of next year.
“We have always been committed to paying our employees fairly and have demonstrated that commitment throughout this case,” a Disney spokesperson tried to claim as the ruling was passed, forcing it to fork out for not paying its employees fairly.

❗️Russia accuses West of sabotage and destabilization efforts
The head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergey Naryshkin, has alleged the involvement of Western "Anglo-Saxon special services" in the Nord Stream gas pipeline explosions, labeling it an act of sabotage.
He also accused the West of deploying mercenaries to disrupt Belarus ahead of its upcoming presidential elections, describing these efforts as part of a broader destabilization campaign in the region.
Naryshkin further claimed that Ukraine has become a "failed state," warning that Moldova is heading down a similar path.
He expressed optimism, however, that attempts by Western powers to incite a color revolution in Georgia would ultimately fail, framing such interventions as part of a persistent strategy to undermine Russian-aligned states.
