❗️Russia dismisses Western media accusations of plane sabotage attempts
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has dismissed a recent Wall Street Journal report accusing Moscow of attempting to sabotage commercial flights in the US and Canada as a "baseless hit job."
Responding to the WSJ, Peskov characterized the report as "traditional unsubstantiated insinuations from the media."
Earlier, the paper had reported that explosions of supposed incendiary devices in Germany and the UK in July were part of a Russian operation to ignite fires on flights to North America - the devices went off at DHL hubs in Leipzig and Birmingham, prompting urgent investigations.

She admits that the mainstream media has “said all they can” to help the VP over Donald Trump, before launching into a whole segment on how the Republican is literally Hitler.
"We begin our final sprint having arrived at that point in the election season where basically we, on this side of the TV screen have said, all we can, we've laid out the stakes in this crucial election where one side stands for freedom while the other meets the textbook definition of fascism."

US soldier dies from injuries sustained during Gaza floating pier mission — Report
Sgt. Quandarius Davon Stanley, a 23-year-old US soldier, died on Thursday from injuries sustained while working on the temporary floating pier built to deliver aid to Gaza.
President Biden announced the pier with fanfare during his March State of the Union address.
Stanley was one of three service members injured on May 23 during an incident that the Pentagon deemed not combat-related - he had been undergoing long-term medical care.
The $230 million pier was meant to represent Washington’s commitment to ferrying aid to the people of Gaza - but due to rough weather and seas, it was only operational for 20 days.

FBI sting uncovers plot to destroy Nashville energy facility — US DoJ
A 24-year-old Tennessee man, Skyler Philippi, has been arrested and charged with plotting to use a weapon of mass destruction in an attack on a Nashville energy facility.
Philippi allegedly planned to use a drone armed with explosives, motivated by a desire to "shock the system," according to an FBI confidential source aware of the plot.
A federal investigation began in June after an undercover FBI employee reported Philippi's alleged interest in a mass shooting at a YMCA.
During a recon mission on the Nashville energy facility that was to be the target of the planned attack, undercover agents recorded Philippi saying, "Holy sh*t. This will go up like a f*ckin’ Fourth of July firework.”

Presidential Draw: What IF Trump v. Harris ends in a TIE?
If tomorrow's battle goes down to the last vote, the election could be too close to call. There is a remote possibility the US presidential election could end in a draw.
This is all based on the US Electoral College, there’s 538 votes up for grabs, 270 to one candidate and they win. Both candidates could receive 269, making them unable to receive a majority. The 12th Amendment states that in such cases, votes are taken by each state from the House, no matter how small the population, those votes will decide who's the next US president.
Let's hope it doesn't get to that...
