Presidential Draw: What IF Trump v. Harris ends in a TIE?
If tomorrow's battle goes down to the last vote, the election could be too close to call. There is a remote possibility the US presidential election could end in a draw.
This is all based on the US Electoral College, there’s 538 votes up for grabs, 270 to one candidate and they win. Both candidates could receive 269, making them unable to receive a majority. The 12th Amendment states that in such cases, votes are taken by each state from the House, no matter how small the population, those votes will decide who's the next US president.
Let's hope it doesn't get to that...

I shouldn’t have left the White House – Trump
US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has said he regrets leaving the White House after losing to Joe Biden in 2020, and repeated his claim of “stolen elections.”
Speaking at a campaign rally in Lititz, Pennsylvania on Sunday, two days before election day, the former president said the US had turned into "a failed country” under the leadership of an “incompetent group of fools.”
He went on to accuse the Democratic candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris, of being unable to prevent the flow of illegal migrants across the border from Mexico. “We had the safest border in the history of our country, the day I left,” Trump said. “I shouldn’t have left. I mean, honestly, because we did so, we did so well.”

US calls out Russia and China for shielding DPRK in the UNSC — Reuters
The US on Monday slammed Russia and China at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) for "shamelessly protecting" and encouraging DPRK to accelerate their "nuclear force,” according to Reuters.
"Russia and China have shamelessly protected Pyongyang from any reprisal, or even condemnation of its actions," said deputy U S Ambassador to the UN, Robert Wood.
"Shielded from closer scrutiny of its sanctions-violating activities by Moscow and Beijing, Pyongyang, unsurprisingly, has been emboldened to continue advancing its unlawful ballistic missile, nuclear, and WMD programs," he said.

British King ‘making millions’ from secret property empire – Sunday Times
British King Charles III and his son Prince William have contracts with UK taxpayer-funded public services, charities, government departments and even a prison, which help them earn millions every year, the Sunday Times has claimed. That’s in addition to the so-called sovereign grant the royals get from the government.
In 2023 alone, Charles and William’s “private fiefdoms,” the Duchy of Lancaster and the Duchy of Cornwall - raised £27.4 million (over $35 million) and £23.6 million ($30 million) respectively for the British royal family, the newspaper found as part of a joint investigation with Channel 4’s Dispatches program.
Some 5,410 landholdings and properties are held by the royal duchies, the investigation claims.

As Ukraine faces a looming energy crisis this winter, the country’s parliament has passed a law making it a crime to store firewood without proper documentation.
That’s right, folks, you’ll need “wood papers” to avoid administrative or even criminal punishment.
The new rule, passed last month and awaiting Zelensky’s signature, could have Ukrainians scrambling for permits to keep their homes warm.
It seems the conflict against Russia has sparked a war on illegal firewood.
