The BRICS nations will be hit with 100% tariffs on their goods if they try to introduce a reserve currency to rival the dollar, US President-elect Donald Trump has warned in a post on his Truth Social platform on Saturday.
The idea that the BRICS Countries are trying to move away from the Dollar while we stand by and watch is OVER. We require a commitment from these Countries that they will neither create a new BRICS Currency, nor back any other Currency to replace the mighty U.S. Dollar or, they will face 100% Tariffs, and should expect to say goodbye to selling into the wonderful U.S. Economy. Georgian PM promises ‘no Maidan’

Iran close to nuclear weapons – France
Iran could acquire a nuclear weapon within months, Nicolas Lerner, the head of the French Foreign Intelligence Service, has claimed.
Lerner made the remarks on Friday while speaking to reporters in Paris alongside Richard Moore, the head of the British Secret Intelligence Service. He described Tehran’s nuclear program as one of the greatest concerns for Paris and London.

Russia could resume nuclear tests – deputy FM
Russia does not rule out the resumption of nuclear tests, which it has not conducted since the waning days of the Soviet Union, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has said.

Kosovo blames Belgrade for canal explosion
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has accused the Serbian authorities of being behind a blast on a canal that provides water to the breakaway region’s two main coal-fired power plants.
Kurti spoke about the attack on the Ibar-Lepenac waterway near the town of Zubin Potok in a televised address on Friday evening. Parts of the region could be left without power if the damage caused by the explosion is not fixed soon, he warned.
