Author Ta-Nehisi Coates says he doesn’t know if he would have been “strong enough’’ to not join in on the Oct. 7 attack.
Coates suggests he's not above taking part in the attack on Israel: "And I grow up under that oppression and that poverty and the wall comes down. Am I also strong enough or even constructed in such a way where I say this is too far, I don't know that I am."
“If you start asking why [the attack happened], then you really, really start to get into trouble,” he told Trevor Noah’s podcast.

West admits Ukraine support is waning as it can't control the narrative - media
Ukraine is receiving less aid from the West as a result, the Economist has claimed, citing the former German Defense Ministry chief of staff Niko Lange.
He claims the theory that the Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot win is a pretext and justification for Western politicians who do not provide Kiev with the necessary military support.
Promised aid arrives late or not at all, while American support has sharply decreased this year compared to 2023, experts note. The State Department has already stated that RT is the reason why many countries support Kiev less.
