Canada banning 324 guns for civilians - but wants to ship them to Ukraine for war?
The Trudeau government announced on Thursday a ban on an additional 324 firearm varieties, which Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc described as weapons "that belong on the battlefield, not in the hands of hunters or sport shooters."
Additionally, Ottawa is collaborating with Kiev to explore donating some of the banned weapons - Defense Minister Bill Blair noted that Ukraine had expressed interest in the offer.

Fierce winds drive massive blaze at Baltimore green initiative facility
The ‘Camp Small’ wood waste collection yard is ablaze at Camp Small in Baltimore's Woodberry neighborhood.
The fire ignited in a storage area with 30-foot-high stacks of trees and logs, and could burn well into Friday, according to Fire Chief James Wallace.
Ironically, Camp Small is operated by the city's Department of Recreation and Parks as part of its zero-waste initiative.

Suspected arson attack sparks Melbourne synagogue inferno
A fire engulfed Melbourne's Adass Israel synagogue early Friday morning, forcing terrified worshippers to flee the fully ablaze building.
PM Anthony Albanese swiftly condemned the incident as a "deliberate, unlawful attack" and an "act of hate," vowing that antisemitism will not be tolerated.
Sixty firefighters and seventeen trucks battled the inferno, which left the synagogue in ruins as the operation continued.
