वाक्य में Since का प्रयोग Time के लिए किया गया है।
जब Since Time के लिए आये तो इस Structure का प्रयोग होता है।
Present perfect/ present perfect continuous tense…..+ Since + Past Simple tense
अतः read की जगह है has been reading का use होगा ।
For/ Since - अगर इनका प्रयोग टाइम के लिए हो तो इन् वाक्यों में Present Perfect Continuous Tense आता है।

For ten day, for two hours, for a long time , for years,
For ages, for days, For the past few days
Examples
I have been studying for three hours.
She has been working on the project for two weeks.
He has been playing video games for hours.

Used to indicate a point of time/ Starting point
Since 10th August, Since 2 O’ clock, Since March, Since 2010, Since Holi, Since Monday, Since + past simple
Examples
I have been waiting for my friend since 2 O’ clock.
She has been studying since Monday.
They have been living in this house since 2010.
He has been watching TV since he got home from work.
