💠No, not all the activities be on-chain. It is impossible to have everything to be on-chain.
6. “What will be the platform to be used when the game is available?”
💠It will be available in PC, MAC, Mobile. The game will be available in App Store, Play Store, etc.
7. “What will be the target demographics of the game?”
💠The demographics of the game is wide, specifically who enjoy playing games in short, intermittent sessions without requiring intense focus. Age group can be possibly ranging from 10 to 50 years old. That is not a casual game. It’s not hardcore game, but instead a midcore game with challenges.
8. “About the art of Velas in the comics, will we have any changes?”
💠Yes, but our priority is to handle the bridge first once done, we will tackle this.
9. “Will the team create a bridge from POLYGON to BSC or have everything in a single network?”
💠Yes, it’s already been created
10. “Hi, I would describe myself as a collector and gamer. Personally, I have not yet come across the option of bartering, or exchanging NFT for NFT. I haven’t encountered this on Opensea Magicedene or Minthree yet. There is a problem with the complexity of the smart contract. Will there be such an option, for example, in the ScarQuest ingame world (maybe not NFT but other in-game stuff)? Possible, there will be some kind of own marketplace on the ScarQuest website with such an option and linking, e.g. on opense, like Sandbox, for example.” - Hansolo
💠Yes, the marketplace is currently working on it. The marketplace is important in the ecosystem. In a customized marketplace for the game, we want to inclose all the activities to be done within the game because there will be more usage of SCAR.
11. “I personally see a great opportunity in managing my NFTs. In what timeframe do you see the launch of the presentation on my properties? Will it be possible to create e.g. and custom skins for my/our characters (clan color/logo)?” - Hansolo
💠All the mentioned functionality mentioned can’t be seen right now, but as we move to the launch period, we will functions to open one by one.
💠In terms of character customization. There are 3 (three) tiers in the game.
1st Tier - Random system functionality. You don’t know what kind of character you receive, no one knows.
2nd Tier - Enhance and Improve character, not everybody will get the same characters.
3rd Tier - Skin or External Immigration with the character itself.
💠The reason why we need 3 (three) tiers of tokenomics which are VCASH - HONOR - SCAR is because we need to be able to cater to Web 2 players.

Hello there! I'm thrilled to share with you all the progress we've made in our game development. We've been working hard to migrate from Velas to BSC, which required us to disconnect and reconnect various components of the game. It's been a learning experience for us, but we're happy to report that people are bridging smoothly from Velas to BSC daily.
We're thrilled to announce our next step: migrating ScarQuest's NFTs from Polygon to BSC.
The tutorial system is a crucial part of the game development effort as it provides valuable data for analysis and optimization of the user experience. The system records every step that the player takes from downloading to exiting the game and tracks their retention rate over time. This information allows for daily analysis and optimization to improve retention rates. The process involves identifying areas of improvement, optimizing them, and relaunching the game for AP testing.
We're now partially on the BSC chain and hoping to launch another land sale and continue with our PFP NFT effort, which ties into the game's background, weapons, and armor. We're planning to have another land sale on the BSC side of our chain once everything is settled with our NFT plans.
We've created a mini in-game editor that allows players to create their own defensive strategy, which is great for players who want to experiment with different defensive setups. We've also been working on a game that involves different units and their skills, with both common and rare units, and constantly adjusting and optimizing everything.
The gameplay video highlights a simplified version of the battle, integrating unique creations and unit upgrade functionalities. Although the game has been rebranded to ScarQuest, the video still refers to it as Velhalla but will soon be changed to ScarQuest. Building and research facilities are featured, with different types of buildings for functional and decorative purposes. Although land-building isn't shown, the video depicts how the setup has been done, and the Meta game systems are successfully integrating.

1st thing, we need to talk about is what are we gonna do when we are attacked or hacked.
There are different strategies to take if our NFT gets hacked. A common practice is the hacked NFTs will get burned, and new ones will be minted and distributed.
2nd thing is how we will defend it

💠For early adopters, we will have rewards and gifts that will incentivize people to do the testing. The primary purpose of alpha testing is to test the existence functionally and internally testing. For the first-time user experience, we will have a test the 1st round and we will execute the 2nd and 3rd round. It will be part of the marketing strategy.

💠 Yes, whenever you deal with a simulation type of land, coming from Web 2 role simulation and strategy are fun. There are a lot of opportunities that we can think about. You could think of real-world merchandise for the promotion.

💠ScarQuest is very unique. We have positioned our project well. When we are promoting this project there are a lot of aspects that we could promote, starting from the comic books - lands - planetary system - simulation system.
The beauty of ScarQuest is that we are not a type of game that is completely a skill game. We are on the go and enjoyable.

💠Yes, for the ranking system we do have a comprehensive ranking system noticed that we have harvesting, city building, and battle. Everyone will have their ranking system even guilds have also ranking system.

1. “Will there be an internal messaging system on ScarQuest for guilds and such?”
💠The guild system is being worked on, but yes there will be an internal messaging system with ScarQuest; player-to-player, player-to-system.
💠We need to make sure that the retention rate is at a healthy level to see the beauty of the game.
2. "Will you be able to pick your miner that harvests your land so as to avoid lazy miners not working hard enough on your land, or to kick him out when you want?"
💠 ScarQuest offers players multiple ways to earn money, including a scholarship system similar to Axie Infinity, grinding, and owning assets that can be sold. Additionally, players can rent out their land to other players and split the earnings. As a landlord, you can evaluate your tenant's performance, but both parties must honor the contract's terms and duration, and destructive actions like bombing your own rented property are not allowed.
💠As a landlord, you will be able to pick and choose who rents your lands and perform better.
3. “What will be the project’s plan for marketing?”
💠Marketing will divide into different aspects. There are community-style efforts and co-marketing-style efforts, which are organic.
4. When we do marketing and with every user acquisition action that we take, what's the impact of the user acquisition? Do these users get their long-term retention rate high enough or are they not good enough?

ATTENTION WARRIORS
The game is getting closer and we are almost ready to go live. Before we can announce the first playable version, we have one VERY IMPORTANT and exciting thing to do.
We have made the decision to move the default Velhalla game and planet to the Binance Smart Chain. This requires a lot of preparation such as deploying on BSC, testing game component compatibility, building an NFT bridge, as well as giving users sufficient time to move over their assets and be ready.
The good news is we worked double time over the past 2 months and most of the technical work is already done. We will be ready to begin the migration process March 15. We anticipate giving users about 4-6 weeks to migrate over and test everything, then we will announce a date for the first alpha release in May. Although a 2 month delay in development, we believe this was one of the most valuable updates for the project. If Velhalla decides to expand and bridge to other chains in the future the dev work is in place.
Why move the default to BSC?
1. After speaking with many guilds and attending multiple web3 events it became clear Velhalla needs to be playable on a top 10 recognizable chain for easier onboarding and user confidence.
2. Pancake Swap and Stargate are one of the biggest dexes and bridges giving Velhalla direct exposure to the most traded stable coins making onboarding new users easy.
3. Binance Smart Chain is supported by the biggest DEXes and bridges with the most amount of liquidity allowing players to trade, swap, and stable with the least amount of slippage.
4. Bridging Velhalla NFTs to BSC allows players to trade directly on the biggest NFT marketplaces such as Opensea. Instead of juggling NFTs on 3 different chains we can consolidate everything onto one.
5. Making BSC the default home for Velhalla opens the doors to a massive audience of Binance communities.
6. BSC supports many useful apps such as Gnosis multisig wallet.
7. In addition many of our most active community and gold members have suggested and requested this.
We believe this decision will provide Velhalla the best chance for success and growth into the future.
Other exciting Velhalla news
1. As of March 1, 50% of the sell tax transactions on BSC will be automatically burned making SCAR a truly deflationary token. As Velhalla gains user adoption SCAR will become more scarce over time.
2. The third book of the Velhalla comic book series has been completed. Stay tuned for the upcoming chapter release dates.
3. Velhalla has partnered with the Tiki Jumpstart (TJS) Project and community on Binance. TJS live stream is one of the fastest growing streams on Binance.
